Im just curious... How many of y'all actually have one? I bought an interarms Mark X in 7.62 x39 recently as the ammo shortages have made me ditch everything in .223 and stick with AK pattern stuff as it is cheaper and will be available sooner.

Anybody have one too? Pix maybe?

Don't own one at the moment, but had a Zastava Mini in 762 and have shot CZs offering in said caliber. Bother are accurate, make fine deer rifles.

I made one from a Carcano action and a Mosin barrel...don't have a photo handy though.

One has been on my "sure would like to have one" list for awhile now. It won't happen anytime soon though.

How do you like the Mark X?

I owned a Ruger 77 in 7.62x39. Thought it might be more accurate than a SKS or AK. Sure was a pretty thing but a POS when it came to accuracy. Tried a wide variety of ammo incl some handloads but nothing was decent. Sold it. Ruger did no make many of these.

I actually have a CZ 527 carbine in 7.62x39 and love It. I mounted a Leupold VX3 2.5-8x36 b&c scope with Talley split rings. easy sub. moa with good ammo. Some of the imported steel case ammo (golden tiger) will shoot 1"-1.5"@ 100yds.

I have one, it is an excellent rifle. Even with the cheap Russian ammo it shoots close to 1" groups at 100 yds.

I've got a Leupold fixed 4x on mine which is a great scope for the rifle. It's a very compact scope and I think the 4x is all you need for the range the x39 is capable of.

I killed my first deer this past November with it.

I have been shooting a CZ 527 762X29 CARBINE for several years now. And it is just a great gun, very accurate with the Wolf 123 gr HP`s. I shoot this gun quite a bit and have had no problems what so eve with it. I have taken 2 deer and several hogs and a few coyotes with this little rifle. Great to carry, low recoil, very accurate, and cheap to shoot. What else could you ask for. My Son and I are looking at buying another one of these rifles from a friend so we both will have one.

Here is mine. Already my 13 year old is laying claim to it, so I'm having to look for another. Its more accurate at 200 yards than most of my other bolts are at 100 with cheap russian ammo.

a 200 yard group.

Its favorite ammo is Wolf Military Classic.

We like to shoot at 400 yard gongs. Quite a drop for this little bullet, it nevertheless hits what we are aiming at. About or a little bit less than the power of a 30-30.

Have a Ruger M77 MKII and am waiting on a CZ which hopefully will be here in March.
Quite a wait though as I ordered it in Nov of last year.

The Mark X is fantastic, I've only got a busnell banner scope on it and im able to hit whatever i want at 100 yards. The rifle is VERY short though, But im a short guy at 5'8 so it fits me very well. The accuracy with WOLF, Tula, tiger, all the crappy steal stuff is excellent. I could shoot in 3 inch circles @ 100 yards all day. And i dont claim to shoot well with rifles.

Btw, to those that say your AKs are innacurate... Ditch your chrome lined barrel for a steel barrel. I promise it'll fix your issues. I shoot just as well with my AK as the Mark X, or any other rifle (like i said earlier im no marksman),I have an IO AK (new gen) Thats as accurate as it can be... @ 50 yards i can stay in a 1.5 inch ring.

Here's my Remington 799 7.62x39 (it's actually a Zastava mini-Mauser barreled action that was imported by Remington from Serbia, with the stock installed by them). I sure like it.
