New Glock 30SF

I purchased a new Glock 30SF several weeks ago. I have fired about 150 rounds through it. So far I'm very impressed, never fired a Glock before always used a S&W revolver. About 100 rounds were the ranges reloads and 40 rounds were American Eagle all were 230 grains FMJ except for 10 defense rounds Power Ball 165 grains. Shooting at 7 yards the Glock seemed to shoot about 1 inch high and one inch to the left. Could be the shooter and not the gun.:) I still love my S&W but I will be ordering a IWB holster from TheisHolsters this week. I plan to use the Glock as my primary carry after I put several hundred more rounds through it.
 
Congrats on your first Glock! They're great guns. I hope you'll keep updating as it gets more range time.
 
Your assessment is not surprising. The 30SF is among the best CCWs ever conceived.
 
I'm waiting for my dealer to get one for me to examine. May be the first Glock I purchase.

I like the entire concept and size of this .45 pistol.

I'm told by those who know, that the LAPD SIS contacted Glock and asked that they make them this gun to replace their Kimber 1911's.

Good enough for the SIS should be more than good enough for me. :)

Congrats! Love my Gen 4 Glock 19. Two days ago, at GT Distributors I ordered a Gen 4 Glock 30. I was told that w/o a backstrap on G4G30 it's the same size as G3G30SF.

Decided it was time I added an .45ACP to my little Armory.

I have 3 1911's and the 30SF is far and away superior. Great choice!!!!!

Sure, why not. They never made a G19SF, but who's counting.

Never meant to suggest an G19SF exist. I was meaning Gen 4 Glock 30 w/o backstrap is same, if not smaller than Gen 3 Glock 30SF.

My G4G19 is the only Glock I have now & really like it ... I like Glocks was the reason I mentioned my G4G19.:scrutiny:

I had bought a 30 used a few weeks back and had some initial problems that were due to an extremely dirty (internally) firearm. Since cleaning completely and overcoming my initial feelings I love it. Very accurate and not near the kick of my 1911. Good Luck.

I knew what you meant...and I just bought a G30 Gen4 today...very nice...I prefer my G21 Gen4 over the G21SF so there is hope...
