Just came back front he local gun shop. Hoped to get a refill for H335 and H332 for my .223's. Surprise, they are all out. They had 1 5 lb Alliant reloader-10X left and on a wim I bought it.

Now I am having a hard time finding load data. I checked the Alliant site and there is some data but not any ranges.

I have 55gn FMJBT. I prefer a lighter shooting load if possible. Mostly just plinking with my AR's.

Can someone help out a fellow reloader with this??

The Alliant site has the data.

All loads shown by them are MAX loads.

You are expected to reduce the listed load by 10% to get the starting load.

For instance, 26.0 grains x 90% = 23.4 is the Starting load.

I use 10-x for my .223 and light .308, got the data from their website. Also found some in my Lee manual. I have had great luck with it, hope you do too

I'm getting great accuracy with RL10X @ 23 grains(Alliant Web Data) ... I'm getting about 2890 fps out of a 16" barrel DPMS .223 Rem. ...that is with the 55 grain Hornady V-Max bullets. I'm getting about the same with 55gr Hornady FMJ with the same load.

100% correct. Unlike the Hodgdon, Accurate and Ramshot sites which supplies starting and Max loads along with pressure data Alliant only supplies Max load data. Use the -10% formula and you will be just fine.

OK Thanks Guys
Alliant then list's the max load at 23gn for a 55 gn bullet, which puts the 10% range from 20.7-23.

Since this is a plinking load, I think I'll start at 20.5 for a 55 gn FMJBT and see how that works.

I certainly bought a lot of it...I hope it works out!!
