Anyone have a ZIP 22LR?

I haven't shot one, but I did handle one in the LGS.

I honestly could not figure out just how I was supposed to hold it, with or without a magazine installed. I could not imagine trying to shoot it.

From the videos I've seen, not a good idea.
It jams every other shot (with recommended magazine) and looks like it would be a nightmare when it comes to ergonomics.
I have no personal experience with it, but I don't think I really want to.

After the last posted, I checked several non USAF videos. Sure enough, none of the buyers seem to be able to make the ZIP guns work worth a darn with any of a variety of ammo or mag types. The gun is also unusually wide.

ZIP is the gun that makes Jimenez, Bryco, and Jennings look good!

I would love to mount one of these on my AR rail lol.

You can, as long as you put a 16"+ barrel on that pistol along with it.

Even the USFA website outlines pretty fairly it needs SBR paperwork.
They don't call it an SBR attachment rail for nothing.

After watching several videos I'm not impressed and am patiently waiting for someone to shoot a finger off with this contraption.
Why the hell would anyone want to install one on an M16/AR15 in the first place????

Not all of us consider our rifles to be toys.

Makes about as much sense as putting a m203 looking flare launcher on your AR (none) but most of my firearms are to enjoy, so if it floats your boat...

Bought one as a range toy. First outing was miserable, just wouldn't extract or eject, and awkward to clear. Changed the springs to the "lower power" set and tried again. Better, but still not great. CCI mini mags didn't work with either set of springs. Blazer did better. Will try again this weekend. Definitely not a pistol for beginners.

Sadly I wasted about 3 minutes of my life watching the You Tube video from Shot show talking to the inventor. On surface looks kind of cool but all this for a snub nose .22? That safety decock/ pull the trigger (no there's no detent to tell you that it's back half way) looks like a liability lawsuit waiting to happen when people put rounds thru their hands or others. And his asinine comment about oh "if you leave the gun out so your 10 yr old son finds it"; well then u need ur ass kicked for being a stupid parent and doubly so for being even a worse gun owner to leave it out for a kid to get.

Looks like an idea that should have been left in video game land. A pricey gimmick for what real use or purpose? As short as the barrel is can u hit anything past 7ft? Didn't watch long enough to see how many rounds it holds and I'll bet his mags are easy and cheap to get also. Plus probably all plastic so will be a feeding nightmare.

^^^FWIW, the barrel on the Zip is 5.5".

It takes Ruger 10/22 mags, so yeah, pretty common and (pre-panic) pretty cheap.
