Morons. Bullets tend to be shot at people. Don't fu**ing celebrate anything about them. Nothing.
Unless you want to show super slow motion images of humans ending each other; which I guess is just a creative boundary to someone.

Oh boy. High speed photos of inanimate objects = murder to this wanker.

The first high speed photos I saw of bullets were made by Doc. Edgarton...back in the '40's (maybe)...anyway, they were old. Really cool stuff. The photos may be on the National Geographic web site. I've not tried to find them.

It's not even 22lr, it's likely a 22 air pistol/rifle. The first picture claims a .22 bullet traveling at 450fps... I don't think .22 short even pushes that slow.

Probably trying to ban the scary air rifles... err.. sniper rifles!

There's a video on YouTube under 'Bullets @ 1,000,000 fps' or some such thing. (frames per second) with a bunch of steel & glass impacts & even some primer cord. It is truly remarkable.

isn't the telegraph in the UK? I'm surprised they even let someone in the same room as a live .22LR round.

geez, someone could have been killed!!

There you go... that video blows my mind. It's so cool to watch how the behavior of these normal materials changes radically at "bullet speeds".

I caught that too, I'm pretty sure they messed up and meant to write 450 m/s.

You missed that one too. I dont think Brits will ever understand guns.

I have some CCI quiet 22LR rounds that are listed at 710fps on the box. If it's like other 22LR, the rated speed usually figures a rifle, and it's substantially slower out of a handgun.

pretty darn good shot, both with the gun and camera. great pics and you can still get Pepsi in that can design. same as the old Mountain Dew bottle's.
