Can anybody tell me where I can find info(selling price) for the butterfly that my Dad brought back from WW2 in the Philippines?
Single side blade, bone and teak on the handle, frame made of brass and the latch is brass. No numbers or ID of any kind.
This has been in the attic for yrs; never carried.

The Green Alpha is by Matt Cook and the Bronze Mutant is by Chuck Gedraitis. This was designed by the Bladerunners, Looseyfur and Knifezoid.

Both have titanium handles and they have bushings for pivots.

How many fingers do you have left? :what:

That video make me have a tingle up my leg!

How many fingers left? ROFL! That's a good one. :)

Ages ago I tried carrying a switch blade but it kept opening in my pocket and stabbing my fingers.
It didn't take me long to swap it for a folding lock blade. I'm much happier now.

A Bali takes longer to open than a lot of the spring assist and automatic knives on the market.

I bought a Benchmade 42, new, but I never even used it. They are fancy knives but I don't care for it.
A lot has changed in the last two and a half years, eh CDR?

My newest knife. Looks like a great EDC knife. Love the large blade.

Latchless handles made of Black Paper Micarta.

Really wish I could find a good one for a good price. I had the chance to buy a German made model a number of years ago. I want to say the guy was willing to let it go for $50.00, the sticker was $70.00. I did not have the money that day, and did not get paid for another week. I am still kicking myself for that, but when you are 16 years old and have a part-time job making minimum wage $50.00 is a lot of money.

Oh well, guess I just need to save up my pennies and get one from benchmade. :)

Chris_Himself and Chris Olofson: Big thumbs up to both of you!

I always admired 29 Knives but I found them always to be heavy and the latches stiff. So I decided to go latchless with both. The Kampilan has Titanium handles. The Imada style Bowie has Brass Handles.

I'm really happy with both of these.
