I was left an 25 ACP Ortgie pistol and I went out to shoot it yesterday and it only went bang four times. The last firing I had to put the shell back in and strike the primer again .The ammo I used was Magtech (all I could find ) . Dry firing the gun the strike seems weak ,the firing pin dimpled the primer on three more shells but would not fire. I don't think it is the ammo , I believe the striker spring is weak .
I found parts for the pistol online but no firing pin housing . My question is do I need to replace the firing pin or can I just get a new spring and striker guide . I tried to strech the spring some but it didn't seem to be any stronger.
Pretty cool little pistol , my friends uncle took it off a Nazi in WW11.I'm posting a couple of pictures. Thanks for you thoughts.
