Anyone interested in nickel 9mm Makarov brass? I am interested in getting some but Starline only sells it in "dealer" quantites, so I have to get 10,000 at a minimum. Grafs doesn't have any in stock and according to Starline's website they will only run another batch when sufficient backorder is acheived. I am looking for 1,000 pieces so others may be needed.

Have you considered making it from 9X19 brass?
beatledog7, I don't want the hassle of making it out of 9mm brass. The intent behind the nickel cases was to distiguish 9mm Mak from 9mm Luger at the range, although I'm not super picky.
Wildbillz, you can buy 9mm Mak Starline brass new for almost half of what you are asking. The price per 100 factory direct is about $14 to $16 before shipping just so you know.

Thats just what I have new in the wrapper from Starline. Brass case never been loaded. 100 count to the bag. Came from Garf & Sons.
I also have a new in the box set of RCBS Carbide reloading dies for 9mm Mak and a box of TMJ bullets for the caliber (Speer I think).

Make sure it's plated. His messages say nothing about it.

He must mean Nickel-plated brass, which I believe is the case for all nickel cases. I have never heard of pure nickel cases, I don't think it exists. Maybe I am wrong though.
As long as it's not aluminum you should be good to go.
I agree with others though, trim 9x19 brass and mark the headstamp with a brightly colored nail polish to identify it vs. 9x19.
