Ever have a gun you just couldn't love?

I love my Ruger P90. But, as much as I've tried, I can't seem to warm up to my Savage 24v. The old .222/20ga over/under was my Grandpa's, so I don't think I'll ever bring myself to get rid of it. It seems like it should be pretty versatile, but I just can't find a good use for it...

Springfield V10 Ultra Compact .45.

It ran great, it was concealable ...and it was a 45! BUT the porting absolutely ruined that gun for me. I was going to try to buy an un-ported barrel when a buddy made me a really fair offer for it as is.

That's what I keep telling myself. But there's not exactly a lot of coyotes around these parts. A few... but not many.

Maybe one day I'll have to figure out how to hunt 'em.

Sig P290 compact 9mm. Only firearm I bought on an impulse and only purchase I regret. I hope it never happens again.... but it probably will.

A New Model Ruger Super Single Six.
The old models lined up the chambers with the gate for case ejection & loading.
The new model cylinder had to be held in place.
I got rid of it ASAP.

Come to think of it... my Nylon 66 is the only firearm I've ever sold. So... there's that.

A Beretta Urika II! What a pile of Italian scrap! Never shot, wouldn't cycle twas junk! When it did cycle the recoil was terrible! You'd think for hundreds of years Beretta would make a good gun. Well I must of gotten an oops. I kept it cleaned and babied it but it was junk!

Called Beretta and their customer service guy was a jerk! I'm a very nice guy and treat everyone with respect. I told the guy I'd never buy another Beretta/Benneli product again. He said send it in. I could fix all its issues but was sick of doing it. I wanted another gun or my money back! I'm not sending my only shotgun in for repairs in the first three weeks of waterfowl season!

I know own a Browning Maxus, pleasant recoil and muzzle rise and not a single miss hap. Only issue is trigger trapping....

Way back when I got this Ruger P85 not long after they came out. Was never able to shoot it worth a darn. Replaced it with a 1991A1 and that hit the spot.

Hello friends and neighbors // CZ 2075RAMI .40sw

I really enjoy shooting the CZ75B .40sw.
So... I thought the RAMI would have been a natural fit.

After repeated attempts to obtain a decent shot group failed.
I traded the 2075RAMI for a Dan Wesson 15-2 with 2 1/2" and 6" barrels, some extras and a box of ammo.

I still enjoy shooting the CZ 75B and have added a few more Dan Wesson .357s.

Never tried another RAMI.

If I understand the OP correctly, the question is concerning guns that DID grab you to begin with, but didn't quite live up to the expectations. In my case, that would be the Beretta Tomcat .32 and especially the Walther P22.

browning SA-22. its a Belgian that was unfired untill like 2007 when my dad gave it it me. it was far from new though. it had been moved around since he won it in the 60s or 70s and had dings and rust. its an ok rifle and pretty accurate but it never ran good with bulk ammo (isnt that the point of a .22?) and i dont like the idea of loading through the stock. ive debated selling it but never have.

ruger single six, it was my first pistol and i had fun with it and carried it allot but firing six shots then reloading takes forever... just not all that much fun.

Kahr P380. Loved the form and alleged function, but it turned out to be a true POS. I dumped it ASAP.

Every single polymer gun I've obtained, g17, m&p45c, p30l, sp2022, along with SKS, AK and a Mac10, and others I've forgotten
But they are not collecting dust on my shelf. With exception of the glock everything worked just couldn't stand them

Bought a reblued Colt Woodsman.... I just couldn't like it since it was a reblue and I missed that little detail before I handed over cash. It departed my company pretty quickly. It reminded me of my in-experience at that time buying used guns.

Could never love a Colt Mustang 380. Not for me. No regrets when it moved on.

Never particularly liked the Ruger P85 or P90's or any of that type of chunky Ruger pistol.

Never really cared much for a Colt Python I bought years ago. It sat around for years, fired occasionally, and I finally sold it. Perfectly good gun. It was just not for me. But I really like the Colt Trooper Mark III... go figure?

YES! I had an HK P9S in .45 ACP that I sold...neat gun but I couldn't come to like it.

I also sold an HK USP 40...it never fit me...loved the look of it...but it always seemed to point downward when I held it.

Another oddball was a Steyr GB in 9mm. Another neat gun but kind of like one of those hairless chinese dogs...you really have to want to like the thing to stand being around it.

I also sold a small S&W stainless revolver in .22. I can't recall the model number. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't think of a reason to keep the thing. NIB too...sold it.

I had a S&W in 45 colt that was one of only 1,500 made...shot like a dream...but I really didn't have a love going for .45 Colt so I sold it (still have a few in 45 colt to satisfy the itch if it comes up).

S&W 38s Airweight. No fun to shoot, so I didn't practice with it and didn't think it made sense to carry it. Sold it.
