New Beretta Pico Size Comparison Pics

You know, there is a point where these pocket guns just get too small. Thus is probably dancing on that line. I don't know if I could even get two fingers on that grip.

I can tell you form the picture it crosses it for me. The walther p22 has sucha small grip that I can't actually pull the trigger all the way without running out of bend in my finger as I have big hands and long fingers. The pico looks as small or smaller.

Yeah, the Pico is WAAAAYYYYYY to small. Not interested.

What is the other gun and what caliber? (my bad. I read Nano, but I 'saw' Pico.)

The Pico still looks bigger than a Seecamp or MDE.

Make the Pico in 9mm and I'd buy one.

It is a Beretta Nano (9mm)

The muzzle down and side by side comparison makes the Nano look huge. It rather looks like we are approaching Baby Browning land here.

I have a Nano and I have a Kel-Tec P32. When I put them side by side, I see about the same relationship as the Nano and the Pico. I think the Pico is closer to P32 size than Baby Browning. I can get two fingers on my P32 grip, but I can only get one on a Baby Browning.

Looks bigger than the baby browning or seecamp to me. My guess is it will be slightly bigger than the P3AT or LCP

On the video that shows the man and woman shooting the Pico, they can barely hold on to the gun when fired. That grip is really small.

Wow that's really pretty small. I like the streamlined styling in comparison to the more squared-off boxy look of the Nano. If it's the same size as the KelTec P3AT then we're good to go.

Well, it looks like Beretta at least learned their lesson on this one and included a slide stop/release.

Looks like a Walther-style mag release. Another plus.

Given my hands... the first shot would go like this:
Step 1: Pull trigger.
Step 2: Notice railroad tracks across web of hand.
Step 3: ??????
Step 4: Scream, cuss, and sell pistol.
Step 5: (optional) Go online and grouse about subguns.

It's interesting, this company made a wonderful .25 for many years in the 950 BS Jetfire that is very easy to hold and shoot well. The Pico doesn't look attractive or at all ergonomic to me.

Why Beretta couldn't successfully adapt the 950 platform to the.380 cartridge is something I don't get.

Meanwhile, I'll stick to the LCP (w/the fitted Hogue grip) for my pocket gun.

I'd like to get a KelTec P32. Kind of as a BUG. Mainly as a gun for when I can't carry a gun, think swimming.
My Sig P290RS covers everything else I do.
Since KelTecs are pretty much "unobtainium" right now. Maybe, I'll just see which one I can acquire first?
I figure a brand new "Beta test" gun and a KelTec, have about the same odds of reliability?

Never cared for no slide back after last shot on the Ruger. Size wise looks like LCP with much better sights and slide release lever. I'm interested.

Yeah every company has one now, but I will give them credit for offering something a little different in the 380/32 combo. I don't see a need for one myself but I love seeing companies coming out with new twist on things

As much as I love most things Beretta (except the PX4 and 9000)...this one arouses not the first bit of interest....way too small of a grip.

Not always a bad thing to be later to the market. It reminds me of the whole Canon/Nikon camera thing.

Canon always comes to the market first with a new camera design with new high-tech fancy features.

Nikon always lags behind six months to a year with their competitive design, but does it right.

While nice, a comparison to the Nano really isn't all that useful (to me). This gun's competition is the LCP, P3AT, TCP, etc. Seeing it next to those is what I'd be interested in.

Most people who want a little .380 already have one, so unless this is noticeably smaller than those, I don't see much point in really getting excited.

But in this case I think it is.

There's already a strong market for a wide variety of very similar guns made by Kel Tec, Taurus, Ruger, and even several other companies (like SCCY and Cobra).

I just think that if they were going to release a gun to compete with the major players in this niche, they should have done it a couple of years ago. Not to mention that the incredibly small grip on the Beretta makes it look uncomfortable and potentially unmanageable.
