Since we're talking semi autos here, at first I was gonna say these...

Lugers003.jpg

But I re-read the entire thread again and have to agree with content (post 27) and go with these fugly old, but oh so cool, old fashioned things... (even tho content's 1911 C96 is cooler with the stock/case etc...)

But I could be wrong. Everyone's opinion of what is "cool" is different I guess. :D

Yep, hard to beat Lugers and Broomhandles.

OP, did you emerge from your Mom's basement to start this thread?

:D

I think some 1911's are the coolest guns in the Autoloader category. I can show folks some of my shiny stag gripped 1911's but they gravitate to this Combat Commander as rating high in Cool Factor.

Most folks think it is cool because it has that been-there-done-that-look. One guy recently said, "That gun looks like it knows what it is doing."

The coolest gun model or the coolest individual gun?

Here is the coolest individual gun, and THE most expensive.

The first 45 Colt model 1873 Single Action Army ever made. Note the serial number on the butt and forward of the trigger guard.

This gun was found to be in the posession of a US Cavalry widow in New Hampshire in the 1920's.

This is coolest too me. It was my Grandfathers...

High Standard Model HB:

My granddad has one of those, great pistol.

My favorite is still the XDM because of capacity and the ergonomics. 19+1 is pretty impressive and the accuracy isn't anything to laugh at either.

"Cool" and impossible for civilians (which increases the "coolness", the "gotta have one" factor), Beretta 93R

High cool Power - Hi Power

MJ

Oh yes, that's nice! I had a chance to get one of those at a LGS within the last year and procrastinated as I didn't know exactly what variation of HP it was.

Once I did a few google searches and eventually found out the history on these I wanted it.

Too late...somebody beat me to it. It was like yours with same box and two magazines. :(
