I shot the Ruger mini 30 against the M-4 in 300 blackout and I was VERY surprised to see the Ruger was much easier to hit at 120 yards than was the M-4.
I was using a red dot on the M-4 and it has an 5 MOA dot that made it nigh on impossible to hit well at 120 yd's.
the Ruger had stock sights and they were kicking the butt of skeet targets at 120 yd's and that is with my old eyes.
fyi,I also fired the Ruger to see if I could get the failures that I hear about with them.
So far with a few hundred rounds of Silver Bear 123 H.P. they shoot VERY well and that is another 100 yard deer rifle that will see some woods time this fall.
