My arsenal, though small, has come to include an unusual assortment of handguns: a Beretta M9 (the closest I've got to "run of the mill"), a Beretta Modello 1934, two Bulgarian Pistolet Makarovas, a Tokarev, and a CZ-82. Narry a wheel-gun, a 1911, a Smith & Wesson, a Colt, nor a Glock in the bunch, and I'm just happy as if I had my right mind. :D

Hurryin' Hoosier

Nothing wrong with that collection of guns; certainly has a continental flavor to it.

A Webley or, maybe, an 1895 Nagant. But either one would be a "safe queen". One thing which I dearly hate is cleaning a revolver.

What, no Walther?

Seems to me your collection should include a Walther P38 or P1. It would fit right in.

And ... how do we know your collection actually exists when you have NO PICTURES posted on this thread?

I was once "bit" (quite literally) by a PPK and have been leary of Walthers ever since.

And ... trust me. I was formerly from the government. ;)

As Much as I like the Webleys, I think I'd go for a Nagant revolver. The ammo is currently much more available, though the price is about the same as .38spc.

I'm no expert, but I've read some questionable reviews on converting Webleys to .45acp. Never seen one that KaBoomed, but people questioned the ability of the Webley with the rise in pressure from .45acp conversions.

Even if you don't get either, I'm glad you're content with your collection. That's a good place to be, the only problem is that they still need fed :).

I was going to suggest a shooter grade P-08 Luger, but a P-38/P-1 is fine also, and you can get P-1's for a lot less than Lugers.
