Would love to post some of my pics. But this morning I went to check my trail cam. What I found instead were two poachers who had shot an antlered doe the night before. And my trail camera missing. The doe was about 60 yards from where my camera was. I watched/followed the poachers for about 10 minutes while they followed their GPS on their phones (They weren't very observant. I got within 15 yards of them before they saw me and only because I "cleared my throat"). I was able to call a game warden buddy of mine and he was able to intercept them. Still lost my camera and the doe. But justice served.....

Good on you. It's good to get outlaws like those out of the woods.

Every year my game cameras take photos of nice OK bucks. By the time deer season comes around they have nearly all been poached. Couple years ago i turned in a notorious spotlighter who lost his new pickup and gun.

Haven't been here long enough to know if poaching is a problem around here, but I hope it's not THAT bad. It's a notorious deer hunting area, though, for it's large population. It might attract a few poachers. I know the guy next door got his game cam ripped off a few years back. He was telling me of it. Figured it was the guy behind us's kid trespassing. That guy is a guy I'll probably need to keep an eye on.
