So I've been shooting and reoading 44 magnum for many many moons now with absolutely ZERO interest in the 44spl. Recently while my wife (got married last week was sitting in the basement talking to me while I was reloading, she noticed an old box of 44 spl brass i've had sitting around for a long time with no use for. She asked "if you load these could I shoot your 44 and it wont hurt?" (she's never shot it but thinks it's "real pretty"). After much sighing and grumbling about how if the spl was still relavent there wouldn't be a magnum I agreed to make her some. She is an incredible shot with her 357 from light trailboss 38's all the way up to my...ridiculous 357's but is recoil sensitive non the less so I decided i'd just try 6 grains of clays with my tru-cast 240gr swc's. The results are a personal best for me in the target shooting dept. (something I rarely do). This is the group from my ruger sbh 44 magnum 4 5/8" barrel.

disregard the small hole in the center black that was a 22-250
1.5 inches center to center, sitting down, resting elbows between my knees @25 yards off the back porch (that's my pinky finger)
I believe this will definitely be my new load for everything with this gun except hunting. And to think all this time I've been telling people the 44spl was useless:banghead::banghead:
