alternative corrorsive cleaner

i have over 2 1/2 gals or corrorsive bore cleaner, i am sick of the smell and the hazards of it. i am just wondering does anybody know is simple green or anything else will remove the corrorsive salts, i still have quite of bit of corrosive ammo of various calibers, its great shooting ammo, i am so sick of the older corrosive cleaner, it works great but will stink up a shop. i am almost to the point of changing the primers, to remendy the problem. my problems is not the bore, but my muzzle breaks, they are very hard to clean,
just wondering if anybody else has came up with a soultion

I liberally use cheap knock-off Windex in a spray bottle, wipe everything down and then clean with Hoppes. Finish off with Break Free.
 
Yep, put the rifle in a drain area (shower), muzzle down, and put a tube and funnel in the chamber. A few minutes of hot water, scrub with a brush, hot water again, a dry patch followed by an oiled patch after a couple of minutes. That should do it. It is actually easier than it sounds once you have the equipment.

I know I sound like a broken record but...Ballsitol was designed for corrosive firearms, way back when that is all there was. I even like the smell... Oh and hot water through a funnel. The Ballistol will mix with any water or moisture that may be left in the bore or flash suppressor and prevent it from causing rust.
 
Add a touch of Dawn (or the like) to the Hot Water ... helps to cut thru some of the crap ... then follow with your regular "non-corrosive" cleaning regimen.

The "corrosive" element to chloride primer compound is potassium chloride. It is very hygroscopic. The Hot Water approach takes advantage of that water-affinity, drawing it into solution for easy removal.
