It's only a burden when corrupt politicians make it a burden.

Mark Kirk sounds like an asshat.

It is sad that Kirk was the lesser of the two evils and is showing himself to be a flaming liberal who does not respond to letters or calls...all polite and respectfully made.

Wow, it looks like a complete sham Rahm and his cohorts are selling. We should trust that new even stricter gun laws will only be used against criminals and not against gun owners who accidentally make a mistake? The sad thing is the exact opposite would be true. Zalewski seems to see what’s being attempted.

To me, the exact wording of the law is all that matters. Prosecutors make careers out of convictions; that’s important to them. It‘s like signing a contract, the contact is all that matters. What the salesman says or promises cannot be held up in court.

And for McCarthy’s chiming in… he’s the one who said “We’ll Shoot Licensed Gun Owners” or something to that effect.

I am from Southern Illinois. So is Kirk. He is an idiot and I do not see how he will be reelected in this rural farming area. The ISRA is fighting this one. My local legislators are pro gun so they are not the problem. Kirk is from a nearby district.
