Steve32, I love that Clipper. I just taught 2 young boys how to make feather sticks with a Mora, I have a few pictures of them in this thread the Bahco ones that are orange. We worked for a couple of hours over the weekend, even making spear points at the end of a few larger branches. I got them the stainless version, and I was worried about the edge holding up, but it's still perfect. No touchups needed. Amazing company and quality product.

Olderguns, I love variations on a theme. I have only had a couple of Bucks, but I've never seen one with tandem blades like the one in the center. What model is that?

Fascinating aren't they?

I'm loving it. For the price, and fun factor, I'm getting my money's worth and then some.

It came with a wire tip that broke off in my fingers, and a chip in the edge close by. I've never sharpened out a chip, so I tried. The sharpmaker took about 3 minutes to erase the chip. Now tip and edge are good to go.

These are new to me and I love this kind of primitive folder, does anyone have any recommended sources for buying these online for delivery to the USA?

I got mine off Amazon (distributed by Blue Crest), my only suggestion is to read the description because it will tell you if it's already in the US, or needs to be imported which takes a while.

If you like the design, I'd also recommend another friction folder, the Svord Peasant. About the same price, and super fun:

My knives

My humble aggregation.

Let's see, well all of these knives are working knives. I have some in the car, some in the toolbox, some in the range bag (damn I forgot the 2 in the range bag...doh!) The big scary looking Buck is on my headboard behind me when I sleep. I quickly snapped up 3 of the new Buck Slim 721s and the grey one rides in my pocket as my EDC. Some of these I got 26 years ago when I was first legally able to purchase from the Bradley's, which turned into a Kmart and who knows now...maybe a Walmart, in a little community called Burke in Northern, VA. The long Canadian sits upstairs in my studio, under a fleece top in the closet. I try to have a knife in reach just about everywhere in the house and car, within reason, mind you. Mine are not the most expensive knives but they work well for my needs and I like them all. I have Bucks, CRKT, S&W, Winchester, Kershaw, Leatherman, SAK, Cheapo Pakistan which is a double edged I like, Schrade, and one little beauty I got on my 19th B-day from a girlfriend, far left...can you identify the maker?

Nice work in progress Sam!

9mm, great collection. Just some solid performers there.

Just got these from the mail, Daughter's first real knife is the Mora, she's in love:
