I'm curious- How did you manage that? Out of stock items do not have the "add to cart" button or show the price.
I've had times I would have added an "out of stock" item anyway and just waited...but NO, can't do it.

It was listed as in-stock (and had add-to-cart button) but apparently wasn't.

I purchased some mags from them and believe the service to be ok. This is not ten years ago. Demand is way up. Because firearm sales are at all time high. Ask yourself why is every arm of the Gov. Buying millions of rounds of ammo? The Education Dept. What do they want with hundreds of thousands of rounds?

Received an order from PSA yesterday, and the Lower Build Kit I ordered was missing the Lower Parts Kit :(.

Sent an email, got auto email response, will probably call them Mon or Tue if no response. This is the first time I have ordered something from them that wasn't right.

Just my .02,

PSA sales

I have had no response from my purchase from PSA. They will not answer the phone and the phone message registry say it is full. This is the worst service I have ever encountered. Ever. If they advertise everything for half price and never send it to you then your just out the money. How can a company operate like this still stay in business? Be fore warned, use this company and you get what you deserve. - Glassfixer

How long has it been? As stated before, they are slow to ship and very busy (hard to get ahold of), so don't order stuff you need in a hurry. You will get what you ordered without a doubt.

Well after 2 weeks I got my latest PSA order - a 16" upper, BCG & charging handle, and flip up sights. Unfortunately, its missing the charging handle :(. Guess I'll be waiting another week for their CS to fix. I still wont rule them out in the future, my other 2 orders have been spot on.

PSA service stinks

I can't imagine getting this kind of service from a reputable company such as Midway. We are to busy is not a good excuse. Its been over a week with no response. I can't even leave a message. My FFl has attempted three times in over a week with no luck getting through, mean while the have my credit card number. If there is problem it can't be fixed if they wont answer their phones.:banghead: Worst company ever!

That's what you get for a company that offers the lowest pricing in the AR market.

They may have the cheapest parts/ammo, but most of it is out of stock and takes forever to ship.

Buyer Beware. I only buy there when they have certain things I really need in stock and at a good price. I usually buy 2 LPK's at a time, especially when they have the free shipping deal. Most of my orders arrive 10days or more from ordering.

Y'all must be calling at high volume times or something. I have called PSA three or four times in the last few weeks and only failed to get through once, and only because I didn't have more than a few minutes to wait. The time I called at 8am they answered inside just a couple minutes.

They are unbelievably slow to ship stuff. I agree wholeheartedly that their ship times are unacceptable, but I suspect that they are already working on that aspect, as they are surely aware of their reputation of being great price and product with glacial speeds.

I actually had an issue where they took too long, so I canceled part of the order (got a BCG elsewhere), but they still shipped the original order (including the canceled BCG and the wrong ammo) as well as the half order a week later. So I had an extra BCG and 160rds of ammo I I didn't order. They let me buy the ammo at a discount and sent me a shipping tag for the BCG, and they answered the phone this afternoon after only about fifteen minutes on hold (did other things while I waited).

I'll use then again if I can stomach a wait. They have been great so far.

Thanks for all the feedback. I noticed that often even the items shown in the email from them was out of stock. Oh well I will keep them in mind.
thanks.

PSA sucks. Customer service sucks, consistency sucks, shipping times suck HARD, not uncommonly their products suck.

This has been my experience and my observation.

YMMV

Placed my first order with them yesterday (Aimpoint Pro and some 5.56). They were running one of their $49 off specials on the Aimpoint, but it only rang up at $39 off. Sent an email after I got the order confirmation, and had a response in less than 40 minutes indicating that they'd credit the $10.

So far, so good - we'll see when it ships (I'm not in a big rush) and when the credit comes through.

I ordered one of their half-dozen blem lower kits a few weeks ago. It was in stock but took nearly a month to arrive at my FFL. I had to be vigilant with the COM between PSA and my FFL and me which was a bit irritating but I did receive the lowers and am happy with my purchase. I would order again if the price is right but I'll be ready for the irritating lack of COM and delayed shipping. Bottom line is the quality is good and the prices are right. BTW, I couldn't find a single blemish on any of the six lowers they shipped.:)

Imagine if PSA had fast shipping and good customer service. They would be a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately for them they don't. Someone is really dropping the ball over there.

Their quality is hit or miss too. I got 2 classic lower parts kits (from a 3rd party) the beginning of last year during all that craziness. They were such junk I put them into the trash can. It wasn't worth the hassle to deal with them over it. Lesson learned.

Someone is really dropping the ball over there.

Try being local to them....they will NOT honor the internet price when you walk in the store.
Instead, I order for warehouse pickup to avoid the shipping cost.
They box it all up just like they were going to ship it.
Then when I go there they cut open the box they packed!
How efficient is that?

The only plus is sometimes they have stuff in store that their website says is out of stock. Usually at a higher price.

I saw a business card one time. It said

FAST........GOOD......CHEAP

Pick any two.

If you think you're gonna get the cheapest price, highest quality, and lightning service, dream on

Hey, I've got a great idea. Why doesn't someone here start a competing business, sell stuff cheaper, and hire a whole bunch of people that give great service on super high quality stuff?? That would be great, at least for the first few days until you went bankrupt.

PSA is up front about the longer-than-normal shipping times and I'm ok with that, but they are pretty notorious for screwing up orders. I think they're listening and at least trying to get better. The last few packages I've received from them had a QA sticker on the outside of the box. Perhaps it's just not enough.

I would argue you get one of the three with PSA, cheap. Their house branded parts have been a disappointment personally. Bought a complete rifle and the mag wouldn't seat nor feed. It was out of spec and was trashed. A separate upper and lower wouldn't fit together. Their front receiver hole lug on the upper was too large to fit the lower. Once it was sanded to fit the lower, the holes then wouldn't line up. Also bought a gas block that wouldn't fit the barrel. The barrel was sized 0.750" and the gas block came in at 0.745". Their shipping, even on in stock items sitting on the floor is long. I can understand orders that require assembly to ship taking longer but product sitting ready to ship shouldn't take 3 weeks to leave the warehouse.

I'll take a chance on them again for something in stock and not of their brand but don't think I'll try PSA brand items unless severely marked down.

This just reminds me of that Yogi Berra-ism about the restaurant: "No one ever goes there anymore, it is always too crowded."
