-Gadsden- NP If I get rained out this week at work and get up there I'll give you a report. While there don't forget to check out Riley's too. They haven't had as much and still have purchase limits. Also not much has been at the new Bass Pro Shop at exit 10 but it is worth a stop.

Look what I found today!!!

Did my usual round of all the warehouse stores and my favorite LGS and I founde these.

One store had the Power Pistol, the R15, and the Stingers. Another had the Fed Automatch (my Beretta Bobcat eats this stuff like candy). And the last store had 2 cans of Bullseye but they would only let me walk out with one. Hell of a find today. I think I might go buy a lotto ticket.:D

PHOTOSHOP!

lol. great find.

Does "discarded" mean that someone saw that the package was coming from a shooters store and decided that they would find out hat was inside..? Or did the box, as well as the powder cans, break open and spill everywhere and someone have a pretty slick little fire?

I am not sure, but I am disappointed that there were no more 8 lb. jugs of CFE for sale after I bought mine...I had SRP, LPP, and SPP on that order, too, to help offset hazmat.

Thanks, Edster...I'll be alright. I just feel bad for Recob's, because at this point, I'm not sure who will be more at a loss--Recob's or me--because of claims paperwork, etc. I'm confident that this will be squared away soon, and that all parties will be good to go. UPS is the one who dropped the ball on this one, and now there are a lot of people who will be inconvenienced due to their negligence.

I cant imagine what they did to it during shipping that would have destroyed it. I have ordered 8 pounders and they come in a what would appear to be an extremely tough box. Plenty of room, and the plastic bottles are extremely strong. The whole package isnt that heavy, so I dont see how even their famous 20+ foot drops shouldnt have hurt it either.
Oh well, I guess anything is possible. How depressing.

Thank you, Recob's!

The team at Recob's are outstanding. After I bought the last jug of CFE, I received the Exception Notice from UPS, stating that the package was damaged and the contents were disposed of/destroyed.

Spoke with the Pam, Jan, and Jeff after UPS dropped the ball, and they were able to get some Varget in place of the CFE for my order, so I am a happy camper :) I am looking forward to loading up some .223 soon.

Just so you know, this was my first order with them, and after all that happened and the way that they handled the whole situation, they have won a customer for life.

Thank you again, Team Recob's!

good customer service makes the world go round. If I find a place that takes care of their customer and cares to make things right, I will buy from them 10 times out of 10. Glad you had a good experience with Recobs

Saw that...now if I can only figure out a way to get the debit card from my wife...
Just memorize the number, the expiration date and three digit number. Maybe that's why I have 2 divorces under my belt....
still waiting for confirmation from Recobs...just love ordering from them!
