November is approaching fast. This might be the most crucial election in NY history. Cuomo had signed an agreement with Working Families Party to expand their radical agenda. This means that new social programs will be implemented, middle class will be taxed into extinction and new gun laws will be passed. In other words Cuomo's reelection will destroy what's left of NYS.

So... What have you done to prevent this from happening? I am happy to report that I got 7 people registered to vote and gave Astorino $150 of my hard-earned money. I am also talking to my coworkers, friends and neighbors to make sure they vote for Astorino in November.

Anyone else?

Astorino will be appearing at the Moose Lodge at 631 Pulaski Rd, Greenlawn, NY (Long Island) on Sunday 7/13 at 6:30pm.

This is a great opportunity to not only meet Rob Astorino and get behind him but to also meet the Conservative Society for Action (CSA) TEA Party members who will be present there and join up.

Now is our chance...GET IN THE FIGHT!

Also, don't forget to Vote Against Jack Martins in NYS Senate District 7 - he voted for the SAFE Act and is vunerable.

Thank you very much for supporting Rob. We can really do it - get rid of the tyrant and elect a Constitutionalist for Governorship of NY. We just need to motivate voters and explain who Cuomo is. Please continue to spread the word. Electing Astorino is our only chance. We will need his veto power soon. Without him this state is doomed.

Have you guys thought about doing some more public events to raise awareness? Not sure what your options would be but there are lots of clever folks in the past who have done demonstrations and what not with a good clear message and made it fun and gotten a lot of positive response. Not being a NYer I'm not sure what is 'normal' there or what you can and can't do on the streets.

Good luck.

NY state is run by NYC and from the taxes generated by computer entry profits on wall st. Cuomo has said he does not care if most conservatives (whites) move out he wants them to being they will be replaced by third world immigration slaves. So the chances of putting in your guy is almost impossible

I would say that I will do what I can to get my coworkers and family to vote against Cuomo, but I am pretty sure they are all going to anyway. I work for a firearms manufacturer, and my dad was a state employee(DOT-Equipment Management) until a year or so ago, so he has plenty of reasons to hate Prince Andy (despite what most people think about state workers, they tend to get screwed over by Albany before the rest of us do, and Andy-boy really put the screws to them, because, hey, they can't strike, so what can they really do about it)

Any of you NY State guys wanna see a nice Astorino billboard put up by the Yates County GOP folks; go to www.gunpoliticsny.com and just scroll down the front page a bit....This pretty much says it all. I recently donated to the Astorino campaign also, the first time in my life I ever made a donation to a candidate. Also recently gave $365. to the Political Action Committee of SCOPE, ( Shooters Committee On Political Education) Scopepac.com so I'm donating a dollar a day for the next year. This is the year Cuomo's gotta go and every gun owner in this state has to vote against these corrupt tyrants who like to call themselves "Public Servants"... "Public Parasites" is much more fitting.

Just because your friends and coworkers say that they will vote for Astorino does not mean they will actually vote. Please call them all before the election and once more on the election day to make sure they've actually cast their vote. No excuses for anyone this time.

Naturally I will vote against Cuomo, and, as the past has taught us, every vote does count.
But I am highly pessimistic about an Astorino upset--we New Yorkers seem to get the government that we deserve.
My good friend just moved to Texas and, one day soon, I will call one of the free states my home.

Have you forgotten about an unknown guy named Pataki that beat Mario Cuomo in a huge upset? History has a tendency to repeat itself. And yes, every vote counts. Andy mush pay for the **** sandwich he fed us.

Astorino is not a career politician. He improved the Westchester County dramatically, cuttingg taxes, consolidating and improving services, fighting the HUD in preventing low income housing quota. The man is a strong believer in the 2nd Amendment, liberty and private property. He also proposed instating term limits on all State elected officials - that will cut down on corruption and allow for fresh blood to enter NY politics on behalf of the People.

Vote against Cuomo, but check out Astorino's views. He will be a great Governor.

Gentlemen,

We are 5 short weeks from the elections. The deadline to register to vote is October 10th.

I have been actively recruiting voters to our side. About a dozen new voters will hopefully cast their ballot for Astorino on November 4th. I also donated $250 to his campaign.

If you guys care about our Rights in this communist state, please call everyone in your phone book and get them out to vote on November 4th. Every vote counts. We cannot match the corrupt king's finances, but we sure can get our friends, relatives and neighbors to participate in the election on our side.

Spread the word, brothers. The scum that is depriving us of our Rights will be defeated!

Yep and Pataki gave NY its first assault rifle ban. Mario Cuomo did not even do that

I really hope you can "Can Cuomo". Best of luck to you all. I didn't realize how bad NY was until I moved out to Colorado in the early 60s and got to breathe Free Air for the first time.

And that was in the 60s !

Terry

Remember this Election Day all the Rogue NYS Republican Representatives who Voted for the SAFE ACT...

Sen Dean Skelos, Sen Carl Marcellino, Sen Kemp Hannon, Sen Charles Fuschillo and the particularly reprehensible Sen Jack Martins.

Vote these bastards out of office!

Glad to see many NY brothers on here. I, myself, have been an NRA life member and a member of Scope for many years. I would like to invite all NY gun owners to join SCOPE. It is a state wide organization that fights very hard to persereve our gun rights. Local elections are also very important to keep our voice alive in Albany. I have met Rob Astorino and Chris Moss. These guys are Awsome and deserve our support and vote in November! If we don't get the word out, I'm afraid there is no one left. NY city gun laws are coming state wide. The "Safe Act" was only the beginning. Thank you all, now lets win this!

I believe I have convinced my liberal-leaning family that Astorino's the one, based largely upon the shenanigans he pulled to pass the SAFE Act as well as the lunacy of the act's provisions. Ditto for my neighbors and friends; they all profess to support Astorino, but short of following them into the voting booth there are no guarantees. By and large, I still think the average voter never even heard of the SAFE Act, let alone its obnoxious provisions.

It does not sit well with me that "downstate" city-dwelling areas are where the votes lie, and therefore largely uninformed voters determine how many rounds I can carry in my firearm, and indeed, if I can carry at all. Or how my taxes should be spent. Couple this with the fact that we are not a "swing state" in national elections, and one realizes that we are little more than passengers on a large train.

Why do you think New York is the target for terrorist attacks? Cuz it the "Big Apple?" um, no.

IMHO think it is because only criminals have guns in New York. Where else have you heard of credible threats? New York is the Target Rich Environment!

Might be far fetched, but I think it is time for a bigger push for the 2nd Ammendment in NY and ousting Cuomo is a start.

be safe.

NYC is the target for terrorist attacks because it's the most densely populated city in the US and home to the largest number of corporations that direct the United States' imperial hegemony throughout the world.

Don't be daft.

sauer1911,

You're completely off the paper on that one. As LemmyCaution pointed out NYC is a terrorist target because of the density of population, corporate news headquarters, financial significance, symbol of America (that's also why jihadists targeted it as well as the Anti 2A "terrorists"). ;)

And yet, there's people who aren't voting for Rob because he's not perfect like they are
Funny how those same people couldn't get their hero Palladino elected.
I hope he wins but if not I'm vacating this place asap.

Good luck on unseating Cuomo. How are you going to keep NYC voters away from the polls?

Rob Astorino is doing a much better job at reaching ALL the voters, unlike the goon who tried 4 years ago and fell flat on his face.

It is very important for you NY members to let us know what the rest of us can do to help. Even if Cuomo cannot be unseated the individuals below him can pay a severe price for the back alley thuggery they are complicit in.
