Sportmans warehouse locally had afew 8# kegs of 700x and 2 1# cans of VVN320. I bought 1 can of N320 and left the other one for the next guy.

It seems like powder is starting to show up again. I am up to about an 18 month supply at my current usage rate.

Well.. Some shooter, somewhere, had his eye out for me when I walked into the local shooting supply store today.

I was at cabelas in Grandville yesterday, and they had CFE223 and Longshot. They have 2 lbs less longshot than they had before I got there. They also had CCI 300, 500, 550 in stock for $39ish dollars. They also have .22 rimfire (Limit 2 50 round boxes.) Ya, know, while you're there......
They had 10# of longshot on the shelf. I may have made it go out of stock when I dropped the quantity to less than 10......

Bass Pro in Hampton, Va has a good variety of powders as of last night. 800X, H1000, Trail Boss, XBR8202 and a few others.

Well, I thought someone would appreciate the headsup on pistol powder, but I am hesitant, I have a large quantity of Unique, which I understand is similar in load characteristics, and I had rather get 8 lbs jugs if possible. I have a big gun show this weekend that I want to check out before committing any cash just now. Sort of hoping for Bullseye, or power pistol, or a miracle to occur and find HP-38/WIN 231....not holding my breath...and I need just a few parts to finish latest 300 Black Out build if powder doesnt happen....This show just comes once a year, supposed to be a good one...

Just got back from gunshow, paid "gunshow" prices for 1 lbs jugs of: Titegroup 1lbs, BL-C2 2lbs, Accurate No. 5, 2 lbls. Total, 5 lbs. Using Recob's pricing, Plus shipping and hazmat, I paid 27 bucks for the Privilege of actually having it. Divided between 5 lbs, that's a little over 5 bucks extra per lbs. Oh well, at least I have it. Rethinking it, I should have ONLY bought pistol powder at those prices...They also had AutoComp and CFE pistol powder.

I paid 27 bucks

Not that terrible in this day and age, especially locally IMO. What part of the country are you in?

Also, AutoComp is out there, Im seeing it pop up quite a bit.

Midwest, Kansas City MO area. Still think I should have just focused on pistol powder...

Keep us posted on how your lot of Tula SP primers perform whether you still experience failure to ignite from harder primer cups.

TIA
Ok, went to the range, shot them through a Glock 17....no issues everyone fired perfectly. Salesman at the range told me he used thousands of their SPP and hasnt had an issue.

Oh yea Walkalong, I checked my LGS for the powders you were looking for. No luck, It was 2200:( not 2400, that I had seen on previous trips.

They had Unique for a short time. I missed it of course.

Got my second 8 pound bottle for the year. Could have been three but I missed my cellphone alert when it went in stock.
