Firing the LeMat revolver

Very well done video. I now understand why what seemed to be a superior weapon wasn't. How strong is that hinged hammer? Seems like that would be a significantly weak part of the gun.

Great video Mike!! I loved seeing the shotgun mode.

I've always thought LeMats were interesting and seemed cool and different but I'm totally convinced it's better to watch someone else shoot one than actually buy one myself. There was a time when I wanted one badly and now I have no interest in owning one, whatsoever.

However, I'm pining badly for a .45 Colt Schofield. I'm debating selling a few modern guns to finally get one.

I'd love to shoot somebody else's some time. They're just a little too impractical and expensive to own. (And I have and shoot a Paterson!)

Can the shotgun nipple not be changed out to one that works well with a Rem #10 cap?

Snidervolley,

That Carbine looks Much nicer than the ones you photo graphed in Thailand, great work and thanks for sharing. No doubt the King ( and Anna) will be jealous if he sees yours.

Where is the shotgun ramrod stored? It doesn't look like an extended version of the pistol, and I don't see barrels underneath.

It kind of looks as though it rides along the other side of the barrels. How is it secured?

Thanks!

I'm guessing that it is much more secure as there would be less muzzle flip compared to the pistol, correct? Though I suppose a 20-16 ga could still have some thump!

I did not know that the loading lever was flimsy or that the shotgun bbl used a different size nipple. I'd look into having one made so that the same #10 caps could be used.
