ETA looking for traditional exposed hammer fire singe action only

Thinking about picking up a non 1911 single action only pistol. Let see if we can make a comprehensive list. I am of course more interested in current production or easy to find used, but for curiosity sake any SAO is ok.

1911s
Sig 220/226
Sog 238/938
Colt Mustang

What else?

There was a CZ-75 in SAO, but not sure its in production anymore. FN FNP came in SAO, but that's discontinued as well. I don't recall if Sig came out with a p245 SAO (I seem to recall an ad in CDNN a few years back).

Also not current production, but
- TT-33 Tokarev, and variants
- Viz wz.35
- Colt 1903 pocket hammerless
- Colt Model 1903 pocket hammer (different than the pocket hammerless)
- Obregon Pistol and Ballester Molinas (the 1911 was mentioned already, but these are different enough)

There isn't enough band width to list all of them.

If you include al the great, and less great ones made over the last 100 years!

way to many to list, but i am going to mention one. HK V1 pistols (with Safety /Decocker) can safely be carried cocked and Locked.

Maybe we should leave out the unusual, hard to find, and not so good.

And for clarification I was meaning traditional exposed hammer fired, not single action strikers and guns like the R51

so if decocked i assume you would have to manually cock the hammer or rack the slide to fire?

Browning Hi Power
CZ 75 SAO
Sig P22X SAO
Many Star models-too many to list
Sig P938/P238
Sig P210
Colt 1905
This list could go on for pages and pages.

A few I didn't see listed:

Beretta Billennium
Beretta 92/96 Steel I (SAO version)
CZ 52
MAB PA-15
Pardini GT9/GT40/GT45
S&W Model 52
S&W PC952
Walther P88 Champion

I almost picked this over the P-09 a few months ago. I'm really leaning toward this as my next 9mm.

Several different Tanfoglio/Witness models.

A few different CZ's.

If you don't count them as 1911's, the competition-oriented double-stack 1911's often called 2011's.

Such a list would include hundreds, if not thousands nakes and models of guns.

Why not make a list of revolvers with cylinders?

"Current production" and "easy to find" pares it down considerably.
But he could spend the rest of the year checking out the stuff already mentioned.

TenJed "so if decocked i assume you would have to manually cock the hammer or rack the slide to fire?"

No on a V1 you can carry it locked and cocked. So to fire you would just push the lever down to the first catch which takes off the safety. To decock requires pushing down even further like a decocker on a Sig. I never liked to carry like this i would rather have safety off hammer down. Sot it acts like a standard Da/Sa.
