Cool stuff The Winchester mil-spec looks cool, but it is identical (with the exception of cosmetics) as the Winchester super-X that costs 11.97 for 15. Dude did a review on-line, pulling them apart. I did the same and got the same results.

Looking to load up some 155g Gold Dots with 800X. I've seen some people post 11.6g on the high end, but it was only a random find and didn't really discuss the results. Interested in your experiences with this combination.

What's stopping me from hot-loading the lesser 32s in my SP101? Seems like there is a lot of room for improvement on the smaller cases that operate between 14-22Kpsi when the 327 runs at 45Kpsi. I'm thinking about converting my single six 32 H&R to 327, but if I can get some legs with hot 32...

Glocks, other ammo I personally worked with SF in Southern Iraq in 06-07 that carried Glock 19s. As far as non-issued ammo...In Salerno, AFG, 2004-2005, the range was littered with nickel-plated 300WM, 338WM, 338L brass. I've never seen nickel-plated 300/338/338L in SAASMOD.

It sounds as if the OP presupposes that revolvers are inferior to autos for self defense. He sees revolvers filling niche rolls of hold-out/BUG or bear medicine.

I suggest that you call Ruger directly and ask them about this, specifically talking about the types of loads and the pressures you intend to run. It's your hand/life, but I wouldn't stake mine on what I heard my friend heard from someone else.

Lots of factors Capacity, penetration, ammo technology at the time, recoil, etc. It all came from the Miami shooting. Proper ammunition would have prevented the entire ordeal.
