Sorry - I've been meaning to get back to you Loco. I'm not sure what division to go with yet. Right now I have a 1.5-6 MTAC scope on my AR, but when I look thru it I don't get a good cheek weld which is why I'm looking into getting a red dot. I doubt that I'll be shooting much past 100 yds...
Hi
While I know what MOA stands for, what I don't get is when I'm reviewing what kind of optics (red dot for an ar15) to get what it means when one optic has a low number like 3 MOA another one has 8 MOA. Is a low number better than a higher number? I looking to use it in competition...
Yeah, I'm not spending 200 bucks on something like that. I was actually starting think along the same lines as you in buying a mouse pad or two and seeing what I can do with that.

So I have a Stag 3G with a Burris MTAC 1.5-6 scope mounted on a PEPR mount. The issue I have is while I can see down the scope, I don't quite get the proper cheek weld. Does anyone know of a cheek riser that would work on a magpul acs stock? or should I just get a different...
Yeah I started to think that I needed to get this and that, then I realized just get something on there and see how I like it. I can always change it up later. It's easy to get bogged down when there's so much stuff out there which kind of leaves you with wanting to have everything when...
Thanks to all of the suggestions. After some research I have decided to go with the Burris MTAC.
One of the things that I noticed in my research is that are some scopes with a red dot on top. Has anybody used this method? Especially in 3 gun? Pros/Cons?
Has anyone used a Barska scope on their AR's? If so, how did it perform? If not, what kind of optics would you use on a Stag 3G? I'm hoping to keep my price under $500 if I can and hoping to get into 3 gun competitions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thx
