my EDC is a 340PD with custom optic sights .. rides in a custom made pocket holster. printing is not really your concern .. the holster coming out with pistol is the problem faced with pocket holsters. solution was to custom make a holster that has a nice loose fit with smooth leather...

have taken more deer with .270 than any other round. 30.06 and 308 would also do fine. but a bit too much round for varmint size game. .270 even with light bullets is still bit much for varmint size critters. one would need .22LR along with one of the above.

just scored a H&R 949 in excellent condition, along with H&R 622 that looks unfired. took em out the range today and they both shoot great!!! 949 is very accurate as expected in SA. but what's surprising is how accurate this pistol in double action. no problems with std hi-velocity...

unfortunately don't have option of trying both small & large XS dots out. for those of you that's got MP 340 with stock (small) XS front sights.... do you wish front sight dot was bigger?

blackhawk pocket holster size 4 uncle mikes makes one that looks identical... but is not. difference is the slick material used inside blackhawk's holsters. holster will stay in your pocket, when 340PD is withdrawn. vs uncle mike's holster will come out with pistol.
