The little pin thing on the end was protruding too much and now allowing the bolt to close all the way, apparently. I took a dremel and shaved a good portion of it off and now it looks similar to the recoil spring that came with the gun, and I can now completely reassemble the pistol. Thx all!

Well, call me crazy but I've lost confidence in Glock. I bought a g19gen3 over two years ago when I turned 21, and then a g21gen3 the following year. 1k rounds through the 21 and 10k through the 19. No malfunctions ever. If I had to buy another Glock, it would not be a Gen 4. And I'm not so sure...

Two totally different platforms. Personally I prefer something striker fired or dao , with no external safeties, thus I love my glock. But I'm about to buy a 92a1 cause they're sexy, fun, cool, and I'm not nervous about reliability with a tac light.
