I find that establishing a personal rapport based on a mutal love of weaponry is the best strategy. If that fails blow 'em out...
It really doesn't matter, some of my 1891/30 bolts fit in my m44s or vice versa.
(Disclaimer do not try this at home)
If the head space is good it should be fine, the type 53 was a carbon copy of the m44 so it'll be fine.

That's one nice looking 1903a3. Very good deal. The stock may be a replacement or perhaps sanded down and refinished long ago. There is often a small P stamp for proof on the bottom of the wrist of the stock, but it is often sanded off.
