it's not ethical. but it happened to me once. someone sold me a pistol that wouldn't feed or eject. i ended up trading it to a gun store bc i figured they could ship it back to the manufacturer easier than i can.

i don't think you have a whole year to turn it in. but i seem to recall that you can take it some time before you are 21 and turn it in when you are.

i can vouch for springco recoil reduction systems. i have them in all my pistols.

yeah its legal but local leos are definitely not gonna like it. houston pd and harris county s.o. will probably give you a hard time if they encounter you. you can't get in trouble for just having the rifle but the hassle they can unload on you is not worth having the rifle just for one night's...

it's tricky. sit in your car and start looking around. find somewhere that you can reach with your shooting hand that is also out of sight. dodge trucks have a secret compartment under the middle seat in the front and that's a great place, but i drive a ford truck with a center console so...

out of all the suggestions so far i'd say the kahrs are easiest and most comfortable to conceal, and of great quality. but that being said, the m&p9 compact has a better trigger and more grip options. play with those and make your choice:) good luck!

why not just trade your 17 in for a 19 and get the best of both worlds? keep any extra mags you have, of course.
