    S&W 629-4 Rear Sight

Oh well. Maybe I'll luck out. I tried giving S&W a call but they are closed all this week for their summer shut down. If it doesn't fit I'll just return them. Thanks again for the help.

    S&W 629-4 Rear Sight

Hello all you S&W experts. I have a 629-4 with a 8 3/8" barrel that I bought a few years back. It came with a scope and I now want to try it with iron sights. Does anybody have any idea what factory rear sight would have come on it? I noticed that both brownells and midway have a few different...

    .223 Bullet Seating

Another question is if I should be measuring each bullet at the ogive and load them in groupings relative to that measurement? Or, would this just be a huge waste of time?

    .223 Bullet Seating

I should have mentioned that I am using a comparator to make sure the length, relative to the ogive, is the same. They are all within a .001. Besides the cosmetic aspect relative to the cannilure, should I give this a second thought?

    .223 Bullet Seating

Ok all you experts out there. I've been reloading pistol for years and only rifle for about a year. The question I have is about the bullet seating. I am using Dillon dies and on the bullet seating I have replaced the standard dillon plug with a redding micrometer seating type (the standard one...

    The 223:is it worth reloading

Terrible question, I reload match grade .223/5.56 for half the price of factory made.

    shot gun shell reloading

I have an old 761 Grabber from the 70s-80s. I rebuilt it and the thing is like a tank. Easily can do 100-200 shells an hour. Best shotshell reloaders on the market if you ask me.

    Most used progressive presses

For Shotshell, you've got to go with MEC.

    Most used progressive presses

Nobody can beat Dillion's customer service, not to mention that if, and that's a big if, something breaks, they'll replace it for free. Even the wearable parts. Price? Well, you get what you pay for.

    Blackening Aluminum

These products work well for touching up areas where the anodizing has been removed. You need to have exposed aluminum (that is clean of all oils and natural oxidization) for the black oxidization to work. The only thing I would say about a precaution is to limit the amount of cleaner/etching...

    Blackening Aluminum

This has been a long time coming and I think I have finally found a product worth telling others about. If you're like me, you like to keep your firearms looking brand new. The smallest scratch or blemish can drive me crazy. I have been looking for a quality product for a few years that will...

    5.56 Not Cycling w/ Reloads?

Thought I'd get back with everyone on the results of steeping up the load. I loaded the round with 24.6 and it worked great. Problem solved. Thanks to everyone for the help.

    5.56 Not Cycling w/ Reloads?

rcmodel: you're absolutely right. I'm going to step it up and give it a whirl. Everything with the rifle seems to check out OK. Nothing is loose. This is the first piston style AR and didn't know what to expect. Thanks for all the help.

    5.56 Not Cycling w/ Reloads?

When I first bought the gun I ran about 50 factory rounds through it and it worked great. This is why I think my loads are too light for this gun. Especially with all the new stiff springs.
