The answer is 9mm, single stack, minimal recoil.............................. What is a RAP 401 alex? Weighing close to 32 oz loaded, the weight absorbs most of the recoil. Not to mention its easily concealed (I wear extra large shirts and can effectively conceal OWB under a medium t-shirt)...

Rap 401 its accurate, inexpensive, better machining than some sigs I've seen (though both it and the astra a-75 it is a clone of the Sig 225 IMO). As long as you can take the carry weight, its an excellent ccw.

Just picked up my RAP 401 toay :-) I love this gun. The machining is perfect, the weight is slightly overbearing but I'll live. I'm using it in a owb galco made for a Colt Defender which provides a perfect fit (not to mention its my first leather holster). Can't wait to take it to the range...
