    Danish or Greek? Are they sold out of the Danish with the VAR barrels? The Danish rack grade doesn't specify VAR. Anyone get a Greek M1 yet? Thanks for any info.

    King of Nines at the range

    OakTree is unbeaten with its quantity and variety of targets. I haven't been to a range in the L.A. area that comes close to having the number of interactive targets at OakTree. Most the targets used to be at the ISI range in Piru. It's a fun place to take new shooters.

    What's the lowest-recoiling 12ga load? Birdshot? What?

    I bought a few boxes of the Winchester Low Recoil, Low Noise when I took my daughter out shotgunning. It worked well, but it wouldn't cycle the 1100. So that's a consideration if you're going to be shooting autoloaders.

    What to wear? On one of my son's early trips to the indoor range, a .22 case bounced off the divider and went down his loose t-shirt. He was 12 at the time and I was very proud of him as he keep his ruger pointed downrange, flipped on the safety and place his gun down on the counter, jumping...

    Yes, I saw it Yelled at my son to turn on his TV, but he was already asleep. I'm glad others watched or I would have a hard time describing it. I can't even guess how many rounds went into that car. Did Jesse wear hearing protection?
