Take a walk through the NRA show

great vid Glad you posted this. I have been sort of perplexed at the apparent lack of video or coverage from the event. Maybe im not looking in the right places? Solid job on the your channel. The rimfire rack looks awesome. Thanks for putting it out there.

    Ruger SP-101 and Hogue Grips

The Hogues make a huge difference with .357s. Mine looks just like skidders, but with a meprolight front post. Easy to install, and ergonomically awesome. It gives me the warm fuzzies when I gaze longingly at it on my nightstand.

New Bersa Firestorm .22, 1st. Time Out, Oh Oh.

Just picked one up myself. Shocked to hear that about the minimags. I have never experienced a ftf with them, and I have fired hundreds out of mine. My thunder 22 handled them perfectly. Although I did think the pin strikes looked a bit light, at least compared to my other .22's. I have a...

Game over. This guy just won.

Tell me about your XD .45 ACP

I own the xd40 5". I have shot the xd 45 5" while swapping xd's with someone at my local range. I have almost 2k flawless rounds out of my xd40. The 5" softens the blow quite a bit, making it a comfortable range gun. I like the grip safety, the LCI, and the cocking indicator. I agree with...

    The Swiss Gun Blog

Nice job Switzerland! Im a bit disappointed that there weren't any threads representing your victory, but it hasn't gone unnoticed in the great U.S. of A. Respect. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703515504576142190857662716.html?mod=googlenews_wsj#articleTabs%3Dcomments

    sp 101 sights

Moving the pin will not drift the sight either way. The channel is cut in the same direction of the barrel. Not sure what could be wrong with the sights other than maybe being scratched up. I couldn't imagine bending the sp101 sight either left or right, the blade is about as tall as it is...

    SHOT Day 2 - Smith & Wesson

need moar info on these. It appears a few others do too. Maybe a hands on type of review? Someone is getting my money this year on a 'combat style' .22 pistol. I already have a 617 for serious shooting, but "need" another fun gun.

    Look at your SP101...

funny, but Im gonna guess that not many get it. Thanks to everyone else who responded.

    Look at your SP101...

Appreciate the effort in your response, especially taking the pic. I was pretty sure it was normal, but my only other revolver (s&w 617 circa '91) has absolutely no wear in that area, although I know it is a different design. I'll keep an eye out for serious peening or deformation I guess.

    Look at your SP101...

Specifically where the hammer strikes above the transfer bar. Is there a strike mark? Mine has approx 200-300 rounds through it, and about that many dry fires. I just noticed this today. Wondering if its normal. Its far from deep, but you can tell theres something there both visually, and if you...

Favorite Grips for your GP100 or SP101?

+1 hogue. I replaced the stock grips on my sp101 with the monogrips, the magnums are much more enjoyable to shoot now. They fit great, and were super easy to install. If I were to carry the sp, I'd probably opt for a smaller wood grip, but for an actual shooter, the hogues are perfect.

Can't help feeling this way about my XDm

I love my XD 5" tactical. Never one jam or ftf out of approx 2k rounds. The trigger breaks in nicely actually. A bit spongy before the break, but breaks much cleaner now after the first 1k rounds or so. Anybody with both care to compare triggers on the two?

    SP101 front sight NOT removable

man that's a brilliant write up. I should invest in a pair of vice grips now that I'm a homeowner. I'll try with the lighter and grips later. I'm taking a buddy to the range for the first time today (and no, his first range experience wont be .357 out of a snub) so if it doesn't shoot loose...

    SP101 front sight NOT removable

Thats on tomorrows agenda. I could probably do a bit more with getting better leverage with the pliers, but its looking through the hole that has me convinced its not correct. Unfortunately its nothing I can photograph. The odd thing is I cant even imagine how this is possible, it would have...
