    Silly question but...

Others have already mentioned the most used (and likely best resources) but don't completely rule out Google. Google has their "Google Scholar" which has a large cache of court decisions, laws, and scholarly works. It's certainly not as good as the previously mentioned databases, but it does...

    Meeting residency for CPL...

You should talk to Ed Peruta. He travels around the country in his mobile home to his residences in 3 states. He's currently fighting a legal battle in California because San Diego denied his CWL citing his lack of "residency" within San Diego. http://www.ctgunrights.com/ - His website...

    Carry Laws

If by technical you mean it's not prohibited by law, then yes. Just like technically you're allowed to purchase a ham sandwich, but there's no law explicitly saying you can. There does not have to be a law that allows you to do something. If it's not prohibited, it's permitted.

Another example of why women should carry a handgun.

You can of course be arrested for those, but having a holstered weapon is far from being "risky" behavior. Additionally, there is no law against openly carrying a handgun if you possess a Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers. It should be pointed out, that since the Goldberg case, no one has...

    Under mattress gun rack reviewed.

Owen, I don't think it's meant to hold the shotgun 24/7 and it's certainly not marketed as a secure way to store your shotgun. I think responsible owners would realize that they should lock their guns in their safe before leaving the house unattended.

First range trip as a gun owner and questions

I just wanted to thank everyone again for the suggestions and give an update. I finally made it out to the range this weekend. I took even more time setting up for most of the shots, concentrated on breathing, focusing on making sure the site picture was right. Even with all the extra focus...

    No Guns Allowed Signs

It's really easy to move the mouse over the business card in one's wallet to select the text before copy and pasting it into a forum window. Because it's so easy, the quoted text MUST be a verbatim copy of that text. It's certainly impossible for them to be typing errors.

A blow gun could easily fall into the "firearm" category. It's designed to work by air escaping your lungs/mouth/tube. This description sure seems to fit the "firearm" description. Since the projectiles are darts and aren't paint, it is not excluded by (1).

    Lubes ( An endorsement)

I haven't tried it on my gun yet, but it worked great on my electric razor. :D ETA: My assisted opening knife now assists in opening thanks to this stuff. The gun is next to get the treatment.
