I also want a good Plinker 9mm Revolver

I have the AL9.0. I don't have a ton of rounds through it, but it is a pretty nice revolver. I purchased additional moon clips from SpeedBeez.

Talo Exclusive LCRX .3" 327 listed on Lipsey's

    Still vaporware, it seems.

    CZ 75 D PCR compact v. Bersa TPR9c 9mm - your exp/opinion of either or both please

Out of the two options mentioned, CZ. By a long wide margin. However, Beretta just released a new PX4 Compact Carry II which (I think, anyway) would be a strong contender.

    Ruger Security 380 vs S&W EZ 380

Out of the 2 pistols mentioned by the OP, Ruger Security 380, all. day. long. My wife's S&W 380EZ was nothing but trouble. FTFs, FTEs no matter the ammo. I don't think we ever got through 2 mags in a row without a stoppage of some sort. Lots of documented issues with this pistol all over the...

Talo Exclusive LCRX .3" 327 listed on Lipsey's

We have the regular 2" LCR in 327. I have been saying that if Ruger ever makes an "X" version with the 3" barrel, I would buy one. But that cost! I gave $569 for the LCR...this is a big jump!

    Ruger Security 380 lite rack

Love my Security 380. It replaced my unreliable 380EZ. The Smith couldn't get through 2 mags in a row without a failure of some type, even after a trip back to the mothership. The Ruger? Truckin' along at 350 rounds and not one failure to date. I realize it's early yet, but I am impressed...

    Chiappa Rhino 50DS

I had the 200DS for a while. Really liked the way it shot with the low bore axis. Great looking as well. The only reason I sold it was to pick up a 50DS like you. The timing hasn't been right yet, but it will happen. Love these revolvers!

Alfa Proj 9mm revolver and Springfield XD9 Range Reports

I have the Alfa Proj (Armscor) as well. Haven't shot it much at all, but it seems to be pretty decent. I definitely paid too much for mine (gun show purchase), but at the time the show price was $100 lower than I could find it anywhere else.

Can someone compare with Ruger SR22 and Walther P22?

I will echo what Jim Watson said. The S&W M&P22 Compact is far better than the SR22 or P22. My SR22 and both of the P22s I owned suffered from multiple jams any time they went to the range. My M&P has been excellent (as has my Taurus TX22).

    Any experience with Steyr M9-A2?

Had one for a short time. Unique pistol, for sure, but the grip felt huge for my medium sized mitts, and for whatever reason, I could not get the gun to shoot consistent groups to save my life. Accuracy (at least in my hands) was non-existent. Likely it was an issue with my technique with...

The TX22 is GTG. Love my full sized one, and hope to get the compact version soon.

    Ruger LCR Opinions?

This. And firing 32 S&W Longs out of the 327FM model is like...bacon! It just doesn't get any better.

    Ruger LCR Opinions?

My wife used to own an LCR in 38 Spc. Although she could get through a cylinder full, that was about it. It simply kicked too much. She now owns one chambered in 327FM. This one has the slightly heavier frame, and also fires 32 S&W longs. It is a sweet little shooter and with the 32's, it...

Best pistol for noob under $600

LOL. That's how my Brother-in-Law started, then he needed a boat and trailer, then a fish finder, then a trolling motor, then a truck to pull the boat with...

How is everyone liking the S&W CSX ?

Mine is on consignment at my local gun shop. Good gun, but after shooting it a bit, I found I really don't like the whole single action thing for a defensive pistol. Nothing wrong with the gun though. Zero malfunctions for me.
