    In NC, the permit is called a Concealed Handgun License; ergo, it allows only handguns to be carried concealed. If you have a baseball bat behind the seat of your truck, you can be busted on a concealed weapons charge. :scrutiny:

    I'll second this, but... I've found it easier to bring the left thumb over to hit the cylinder release. I'm letting go of the gun with my left hand, anyway, and the thumb motion is a little stronger...

    Sig 220 ST

    Not quite. I've got a 232SL to go with my 220ST (I've got a 228 and 220 in alloy also). I generally carry the 220 alloy model because it's lighter, but the feel of the ST is awesome.

    What is your CCW Status?

    I have an NC concealed handgun license, which makes me legal (according to www.packing.org) in 30 states. Adding a FL and/or a UT out-of-state permit would add one state to that list, and since I have no current plans to visit ND, I don't guess pursuing more state permits is cost-effective.

    I like vests. Concealed Carry Clothiers offers some good-looking vests which cover a full-size OWB, and have pockets which accomodate smaller guns, reloads, etc. They're somewhat expensive, but it's a good option, IMO.
