    Why 32 h&r?

i'm getting older and i don't tolerate recoil as much as i use to. For me its about the weight and recoil of the gun for my caliber choices. in the LCR i have transitioned to the 32 for recoil management. It is also my carry gun. range practice is productive, enjoyable, and no longer painful. i...

    9x18 Mak or .45 GAP?

Makarov. greater ammo availability, less expensive ammo, prefer da/sa over a striker. And last but probably least, i prefer the heel mag release.

Talo Exclusive LCRX .3" 327 listed on Lipsey's

probably see how fast they sell to see if there is a demand. If they move well, Ruger might make it regular production. If not, then it will stay a dealer specialty. Unless it takes forever to move them.

    Dream revolver

its a Frankenstein gun.....mostly a Ruger LCR with a Colt style cylinder release and with a grip frame that will accept Smith J frame RB grips.

Front Sight for .327 LCR ?

dollar store women's nail polish.......it inexpensive, long lasting, and you can be selective in color. clean the existing sight with alcohol. lay down the color you want on the ramp. Let dry and put another coat on. Let dry and put a clear coat on, let dry and another clear coat. mine has...

Taurus Model 327 Old People Revolver

switched the the 32 h&R loading a few years back. Went with the LCR which comes in around 17 oz. It's at the upper limit in weight for pocket carry for me. The trigger along with the poa/poi is excellent. With 32 Longs its very mild. i would consider the taurus 32 if she came in 3" for belt...

S&W J Frame- Centennial vs Chief’s Spl. vs Bodyguard

i want "hammerless" for pocket carry. I want that hammer spur if i carry owb. Mostly because i use thumb break holsters and i like some form of retention.

    Henry Revolver

Henry.....well, you have to pay if you want a polished blue steel finish nowadays. That alone is attractive to my eye. The retro usage of brass is also attractive to me. I would be more interested in hearing about the trigger and a shooting report. Will probably never buy a new one. But who...

    New Rossi .357 thoughts?

is Rossi still an actual Rossi, built by rossi employees in their own Rossi factory? Or are they just a Taurus production rebranded as Rossi in a taurus factory?

Is SXP a worthwhile alternative to a Mossberg 500?

received a winchester sxp marine defender a few years back as a birthday present. Main complaint is it feels thick thru the wrist area of the stock. Another complaint is its not easy to combat load thru the ejection port like an 870. on the plus side, the feeding seems very positive and more...

Your BUG or pocket carry revolvers

LCR327 but using 32 H&R loads. its at the upper weight limit for pocket carry for me....but it has a sweet trigger and shoots poa/poi. I can not tolerate 327 loads...so its a steady diet of 32 HR and 32 Long.

Can I make my revolver ( Ruger LCRx 9mm) heavier ?

in the blind here. but i would try larger grips and a non +p 147 gr subsonic load. going with a larger grip and non-plus p 38's certainly helped with my LCR.

.38 or .357 for the 3 inch LCRx? *Update: Poll Added*

seldom shoot......38 frame for weight savings. a lot of range time.....the 357 frame for the recoil management. i went with the two inch 357 frame after trying it side by side with a 38 frame shooting identical 38 loads. i do a lot of range time with what i carry. 20 years ago i would had...

    Performance of .32 S&W Long in a .327?

I do not go for bottlecap accuracy. More like 9 ring B27 as acceptable accuracy with the LCR. The 32 Long and 32 H&R are equally capable for my accuracy needs. If anything, i am less accurate with the 327 due to the recoil and blast.
