New press opinions- Lee or Dillon

Going will Dillon is actually less expensive in the long run for the following reasons: 1. It won't break, and if it does they fix it free. 2. If you manage to wear it out loading millions of rounds, Dillon will rebuilt it to "as new" condition for almost nothign 3. If you ever decide the sell...

    Winchester 1300 sling

I recommend this one. http://www.cqbsolutions.com/winchester_1200_cqb_sling.htm My friend has gone through about 3 different brands of slings and has settled on this one as the best. I have one on order, and expect to receive it in about 3 weeks.

    Changing Winchester SX2 gas pistons?

David, Please post how things work out if you have them work on your gun. I'm interested in what mods they do, and how it shoots when you get it back.

    Changing Winchester SX2 gas pistons?

So I found out more info from some people "in the know" about the SX2. David, if you want your gun to cycle lighter loads, call Jeff at Sure Cycle and for $35 he can modify your piston .. I guess this is the best way to go from what I've heard.. They can also do a complete reliability...

    Changing Winchester SX2 gas pistons?

I called Winchester and asked about getting the MK1 to run lighter loads.. This guys answer was basically that it can't be done without "tearing the gun up." Whatever.. Anyway, I have a reliable 1 1/8 load that runs fine, guess I'll just stick with that.. I was also hoping to run 1 oz...

    Changing Winchester SX2 gas pistons?

That sucks.. I just picked up an SX2 practical and have the same issue.. Do you reload by chance? I found that my SX2 will cycle 1 1/8 loads fine if they are going 1200fps.. This would be a 3 dram load in factory ammo.. Try picking up some of these.. 1-1/8 heavy target loads, and see if it...

    Glock 23 Owners

I used to have a glock 23, but it kaboomed so I'm done with glocks in 40 or 357sig.

Bought a 627, rear sight bent, dropped?

Well, I have a good follow up to this post. Shipped the gun to S&W on a Thursday, they received it Friday. I got it back Wednesday the following week, so they only had it 2-3 days, can't ask for a better turn around than that. Anyway, they replaced the hammer, and the rear sight. I asked...

Who makes the best DOUBLE ACTION .45 ACP?

You guys have it all wrong!! Best double action in 45ACP is my S&W 625 revolver, hands down. Has a smoother double action trigger than anything else I've ever fired, including sigs and Hks

    Kahr PM9 - accuracy sucks?

I shoot a DA revolver in competition all the time and I can tack drive with it, so I'm used to shooing DA triggers, also my glock was no problem either and it had a similar trigger. I'm shooting about 1000 rounds a month these days, so I'm doubting the accuracy problem is me, but I'm going to...

    Kahr PM9 - accuracy sucks?

It could be me thats "sucking" but I can tack drive my Kimber 1911 with 5 shots all into the same hole at say, 10 yards. With the pm9, I'm shooting big groups, 4" maybe.. I've been using proload 124gr +p, maybe it's the ammo? Tried some winchester white box 115gr target ammo, same results...

    Range bag for a motorcycle?

What makes a "range" bag anyway? How about just bring a pistol case, and one of those military surplus tool bags for ammo? Thats what I do on the bike.
