    .380's?

I like this one. Yeah, it's a little bit large but it's dependable and accurate and handles better than the little guys. Recoil is kinda stiff for a .380.

I want to see your "scout" rifle set ups

Badlander, it'll be hard to find. It's an old Japanese Tasco Pro Class 2x22 with a lighted reticle.

I want to see your "scout" rifle set ups

Here's my version, a 1894c. It won't make 2 moa at 200 yards but in Missouri it will seldom be necessary.

Maybe a good review but the guy likes to hear himself talk. Get to the point dude. I couldn't finish it.

    Target 22 rifle questions

Another vote for the CMP Kimber 82 Government. It comes with very nice aperture sights. Here's mine:

    What's the Most reliable .22lr?

Remington 552 is often over looked. I have two of them. Accurate and extremely reliable. A little bit pricey for a new one, about $450.00, but worth it IMHO.

    Remington 552 speedmaster trivia question?

Here's my latest one, just picked it up last week. It's more accurate than my old one, as good as my bolt actions. Forgive the rotten pics. They were taken in haste at the range. The guns are fouled with powder residue after several hundred rounds fired. Here's the old one, now with a...

    Remington 552 speedmaster trivia question?

Rangerruck, The 550 does indeed have a floating chamber. The 552 does not. It's a common misconception. I own two 552s. There was a discussion over on RFC about the same subject. I emailed Remington and they confirmed that the 552 is sans floating chamber.

    Lethal .380

Are we really concerned with lethality? I'd think stopping power is more important. If a BG threatens my life my first concern is to stop him from doing what he's doing. A .380 will certainly kill, but how quickly if bullet placement is not precise. I own .380, 9mm and .357. The .357 is always...

    Leupold rimfire scopes?

The 2x7 is a very nice but over priced scope. No better than the Weaver. Power adjustment ring is VERY stiff.

Sound off if you haven't destroyed your K frame with magnum loads...

Last I heard S&W has no more .357 K frame barrels in stock. So go easy on your 19s and 66s. This 19-4 has had about 200 rounds of Speer 125s through it with no damage but I won't shoot anymore through it. Just 158s from now on.

Have you tried looking for a spring to fit an Anschutz 64 sporter trigger? Should be the same. Edit: Sorry, should have read your post to the end. :(

    THE BEST .22 Rifle Ever

Remington 552 I just gotta put in a vote for this rifle. I disagree that it ain't purty. It's reliable, it has a good trigger and it can hit a bottle cap all day long at 50 yards.

    most trusted handgun

Yup, it has the LOCK! Nearly a 500 rounds of 158gr magnums with nary a hiccup. Great trigger is SA or DA. Smith 60-14. I also trust my CZ83 for reliability but I'd still go to the Smith in a life or death situation.
