Reloading 38 special with 158 gn RNL over 4.4 gn Unique. About 25 % of cases seem to shave some lead off the bullet. Micrometer on case and bullet dimension shows case 0.376-0.379 OD, bullet measures 0.357-0.358 OD. Completed rounds fit case gauge and chamber in S & W Bodyguard 38 spl just fine...

Zilla plus 1/2 sheet paper towel ripped into 4-5 strips + Dillon case polish. Works well for me. May switch to used dryer sheets though

23.5 gn with 55 gn FMJ would fail to cycle consistently in Bushmaster .223. Accuracy only fair. OK for plinking. 24.9 gn with 55 gn FMJ so far without failures. Accuracy better. Considering 25.2 gn. Range variable depending on data source. 23.5-27 gn vs 24.5-28.5 gn

9mm 124 gn rn fmj over 4.2 gn 700x work for for my Kahr K9 and Beretta M9

Using Unique 6.1 gn for 45 ACP 230 gn RN hard cast lead in Dillon 650XL, +/- 0.1 gn typical with rare +/- 0.2 gn. :)

Kahr K9 loads good. Revised M9 loads Loaded 9mm 124 gn RN TCJ with 4.0 gn 700X to COAL 1.130-1.138 Range 01/05/13. Flawless performance in Kahr K9. Keeper load. However 1/5 stovepiped on Beretta M9. Sometimes appear as not enough energy to move slide back to eject round. No issue with Blazer...

Reloading plan for Kahr K9: 124 gn FMJ RN Berry's [got 3000] with 4 gn 700x powder [have 4 #] Speer book 3.9-4.3 gn with 700x powder and 124 gn RN on Dillon XL650. Question is what is COAL to avoid overpressure? Research seems to indicate shorter COAL 1.08 - 1.21 or most reloaders vs Speer...
