    compact 9mm for Concealed Carry

USAF Vet, the C9 is much smaller then HP's .45 I can wear it with the 8 or 10 round mag and it still leaves no print through my shirt. I also have a dual mag pouch with 2 more 10 round mags so I can carry up to 30 rounds without having mags in my pockets if I choose to.

    compact 9mm for Concealed Carry

I have my Hi Point C9 set for CC and it works just fine, you can find them at budsguns.com for about $150. I know a lot of people complain saying they r ugly, heavy, or say they can't be all that good since they are not too expensive, but mine has gone bang every time I've fired it (it has about...

+1 mcdonl This is what i was saying. yes he may have seen this first hand, but instead of considering how the member was handling the firearm, assumption is made the firearm was surely to blame. Deanimator, I will personally help you rid your club of these horrific Hi Point guns. Gather up...

    Hi Point?

Since you have fired them mgmorden, I recognize your opinion as valid. Everyone has a favorite or at least a preference to a type, style or brand. I just hate to see so many people trash a brand or a specific model based on a story they heard about their friends' brother's wife's hairdresser's...

    Got to try a Hi-Point C9(?) today.

from what I hear via connections at hi point they are not producing new c9 models at this time. not sure if that's because they are modifying the c9 design, or if they are concentrating on other things and will be producing more c9's sometime in the near future. For now, watch places like...

Are "off brands" like Jiminez and Cobra SAFE?

If you want a good reliable gun at an affordable price, get a Hi Point. they don't kaboom unless you're doing something really stupid with it, they have a lifetime no questions asked warranty, and they are as accurate as any other 3.5 inch barrel 9mm out there. Yes they are a little "bulky"...

    Got to try a Hi-Point C9(?) today.

you pay shipping to them, but they make it up to you by putting an extra mag in the box on the return trip.

    Hi Point?

I own a 995ts carbine by Hi Point, I have used my friend's C9 by Hi Point. They are both good guns. I am looking for a C9 Comp model right now in fact, to go along with the 995. I will admit I am an active member on the hi point forums, and I would suggest you check it out there too. Lots of...

Why do compacts cost more than the full size verison? ie: Taurus 24/7

Price is based on demand as well as building costs.

Impulse buy, Beretta Storm Carbine, ???

If you ever get a chance, try a HP 995TS and see if you prefer that over the storm. They are similar in functionality, but the 995 is only about $250 NIB.

Impulse buy, Beretta Storm Carbine, ???

"How much money do you think ATI made ripping off the "terrible thumbhole stock" Beretta design so you could have a $250 Hi-point 995 /PX4 clone? " I would say wayyy too much. I'm not a fan of the ATI stocks for HP carbines. I'm happy with the 995TS i have. It's not exactly stock anymore (part...
