Who owns "pairs" of pistols: big and small, short and tall??

Glock 43,26,19,34, plus 30s,21,and 41 for autos. Ruger LCR, SP101, Speed Six, and a GP100, all .357 magnum for the wheelguns. Not to mention a Kriss Vector in both 9mm and .45, and a Ruger 77/357 :)

Looking for a gallery load for 44 magnum

I use 6.0 gr of Red Dot and 240 gr cast SWC for my plinking rounds. Same charge weight works with 255 gr .45 colt loads as well

    Favorite powder for 124grain 9mm

I like medium speed ball powders, specifically Silhouette and Accurate #5. I like the easy metering as I’m loading on a 650xl. I also like that there is +p load data available. I load 124 gr FMJ hot enough to mimic M882 9mm NATO, which runs well in my guns, and a friends MP5 SMG.

    All purpose handgun powder???

Red Dot works for me... I load 25acp, 32 S&W, .32 ACP, .380 ACP, 9mm Makarov, 7.62 Tokarev, .38 Special, 9mm, .40 S&W, 45 ACP, and 45 colt with it, along with 12 gauge and .308 Winchester (plinking loads). I got 16 lbs. for cheap a couple of years ago. so I'm all set for a while....

Took it all off; rekindled old flame!!

I have a Dillon 650xl, a 550b, and a Lee Classic Turret. I've got the LCT setup for light .38 special loads using a 158 LRN and 3 ish grains of Red Dot. Mainly for my Dad and his wife to practice with. I got them each a police trade in Model 10 for Christmas. Along with a 12 gauge pump and...

dillon 550 and lee powder measure question

The Lee and the Dillon powder measures both work very well. I still use my Pro Auto Disc to load 50 Beowulf on my 550, using the Lee die set for that caliber. The Dillons are nice because they are very easy to adjust.

What is the last gun that you bought?

I just bought a M&P Shield 9mm.... Great gun that I can pocket carry, unlike my Glock 26... I scored a 98 on Larry Vicker's drill "The Test" 10 yards, 10 seconds on a B8 target, since the Shield doesn't hold 10, I drew from concealment out of a Blade Tech IWB holster. I shot the 98...

Coming full circle back to lever actions and single actions

I started shooting with Marlin lever actions and Ruger single action revolvers. My fathers guns... About ten years ago I started buying my own, started with an AR15 and a Glock 19. I've taken instruction from Chris Costa, Pat Rogers, Ken Hackathorn, Gabe Suarez, Jason Falla, and Paul Gomez...

    Progressive Reloading Systems

I own and use a Lee Pro 1000, Lee Classic Turret Press, Dillon 550 and last week I took delivery of a Dillon 650 XL. I'm using the LCT to single stage load 308 and 6.8 spc, the 550 is now for large primer stuff (10mm,9x25 dillon, 50 Beowulf), and the 650xl is for 9mm and .223. My Pro 1000 is a...

If you had only one powder ?

Ramshot Silouette! Similar to Unique in burn rate but very clean and low flash. Works well in +P loadings for 9mm and 38 special, he'll I've even used it in 9x25 Dillon!

Has reloading saved you money (casting excluded please)

    Single or progessive

I started on a single stage, moved on to a Lee Classic Turret press, and then moved on to a Dillon 550b. I wished I just started with the 550b. It has to be the easiest progressive press in the world to use. I like the manual indexing and the priming system is very uncomplicated. I would say the...

Warning!!! Please don't try the cheap .223 load I posted in my thread!!!!

I've been having hangfires and even had one squib.. I seems like the Wolf 223 primer isn't reliably ingiteing the WC844 powder....I've had no problems at all with TAC,H322, or AA1680.... I'm switching to cci 41 primers, which will bring my cost to $0.12 per round.... Now I've got some...

Loading 9mm and .223 and breaking even on equipment cost

Indeed, I wasn't making any arguement, just showing how my equipment paid for itself over time... -Dave
