Does anyone use hard cast in 30-30 lever action?. Do you need gas checks if so?

I have two and I keep the ACP cylinder in the blue one and LC cylinder in the stainless. I reamed the throats and shoot cast bullets. They both shoot as well as I can. Pictured with my Super blackhawk.

Good for you. It's your gun so fix it the way you like it. Looks fine to me but I have never owned a Glock.

I have both of them and much prefer the classic turret. It is easy to see the powder before placing the bullet. The 1000 requires lots of tinkering to keep it going IMHO.

A S&W model 17-3

686 for me. That suits me fine.

My mini 14 along with a 10/22.

A S&W 5906 or the 6906. A lifetime of reliability.

A 4566 for me followed by 5906. I guess I just love those 3rd Gen S&Ws

The M&P fits me better but I like DA/SA with a exposed hammer. Both are very good pistols but I still like my 5906 better than both of them.
