600 for a used mini isnt a deal. They can be found new for 6-700. If I were going to buy a new ranch rifle Id get the .223, more ammo choices, and better aftermarket mags, and dont beleive the AR fanboys, minis can be easily modded to match a entry level m4gery/AR in terms of accuracy, and Mine...

I just bought a banner 2-7x36 for my ranch rifle today, got it for 60 bucks. I havent mounted it yet but I DID take it out of the box to check it out, Zoom is nice and smooth and doesnt get blurry, focus works well. I took it outside to se how bright it is, and wow, Im sure it doesnt transfer...

I would invest in training before I bought anykind of gadgets like a CT, because if your tactics suck, no amount of gadgets will save you.
