I own a new Mod 2 FDE 5" with thumb safety. I was lucky enough to get it the week it was announced. I've put about 350 rounds through it w/o a single burp. I like everything about it better than my mod 1 - that I've had for years.

I save a heck of a lot more than $50 You just have to be patient and know what you should pay :cool:

@ JDR Sorry I completely disagree with you. I believe in buying high quality used - over cheaper new. I too bought a used Glock 4th gen used - mine was a model 34 - I had to send it back to Glock to get it right - runs fine now. I've bought used Sig's / HK's / S&W's / CZ's - never...

The more the better for me. But I carry a M&P .45 compact that has 6 + 1 and when I do I just carry a second mag. :cool:

@ madFive I don't think you over paid for it - very average Mosin's are going for $150 to $160. $180 out the door for a real good one is alright by me. Good luck with it - it'd a fun gun to own. Loads of history. :cool:

I know exactly what you mean - I love my Sig P220 This gun is fantastic IMHO :cool:

I carry two different .45's - The one I carry most is a S&W M&P .45c The other is a Kahr CW45 Both are very good guns with easy recoil and very accurate. :cool:

I sold my Glock 26 and bought a M&P 9c Wow am I glad I did. :what: 9c is a much better gun in so many ways. By the way it carries 12 + 1 in a very small thin package :cool:
