Exactly. Until I see the guys who rent two tables at every show and sell hundreds of guns a year getting arrested I’m not going to worry about the 2-3 I trade a year.

Arfcom and the guntubers are absolutely wound into a tizzy that trading a gun with an FFL makes you an unlicensed dealer because you both don’t have a license. This is just an extension of the conversation we had in a recent thread. They aren’t going after obvious and blatant violators now, how will this change anything? I wonder if this will scare off any of the small show promoters? I hope not, though I cynically suspect that is one secondary intent.

I commented on the proposed rule that ATF needs to define a number of transactions per year or else they are setting a trap for hobbyists and collectors. Not surprisingly, they didn’t take my advice.

I would really like to see the Marlin 60 make a comeback. I had the Glenfield version until it was stolen. It was a fantastic shooter.
