What is the last gun that you bought?

Browning Hi-Power MKIII in .40 with fitted 9mm Bar Sto barrel. Found it prowling the used section of a local shop. HI-Power's are not uncommon in these parts, but what caught my eye is that this one had been given a full package of gunsmith love. Full front and back stiple, trigger job...

What is the last gun that you bought?

Just picked up an FNH FNX .45 in stainless. Good trigger, 15+1 capacity, DA/SA or cocked and locked and accurate to boot. Might just be my new favorite fighting gun.

    Favorite .45

I guess my favorite would me be my customized Colt Officers ACP in stainless, or my HK Compact Tactical if I want to use a can for some reason. Haven't figured out how to upload pics yet...

Any factory full-power 10mm with 180gr Hornady XTP?

I think Grizzly uses an XTP in some of their 10mm rounds and they put up some very solid ballistic performance. For example http://www.grizzlycartridge.com/store/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=GC10M4

    What's your "always buy" gun?

Nothing terribly original from me. I like most anything made by Colt, and I have a hard time turning them away. I also have a liking for S&W revolvers and a weakness for older German/Euro guns. HK P7/P9, Walther PP, PPK, P88 or P5, most any Sig if its a decent price...

    Steyr Owners, Chime in Please

I have an M9 and I do like it very much. It sits great in the hand and it allows for very fast strings of shots with little muzzle rise. It carrys well, about like a Glock 19 and has been very reliable. I replaced the sights with night sights. The trigger is good for a striker fired...

    Durability of a everyday carry pistol/revolver ?

I carry a Glock. If I drug it behind a car for a mile or so, I think it would look better in some ways. At least it would look a little different than all the others and have a bit of character... :)

    Reloading the Glock 20

Not long after beginning to reload for my Glock 20 I began to notice some slight belling of the shell cases. That was pretty much the excuse I used to do what I wanted to do anyway, which was get a 6" barrel with tighter tolerances. I went with the Storm Lake barrel and have been very happy...

    OK, so I am a caliber odd-ball.....

I am a huge 10mm fan. Have several handguns in the caliber and am looking to get one of the Olympic Arms AR uppers in the same caliber once they are available again. Other than that my only somewhat odd caliber is .300 Rem Mag. I usually try to stay with the more common calibers for ammo...

Ever have a gun you just couldn't love?

I have never owned a ruger, so I don't have a hate story from them. I would like to keep both of those trends up for a long while. Some of my firearm "one night stands": Star Firestar .45: Could not hit anything with it, weighed more than most full size guns. Browning Hi-Power: Trigger was...

    shipping ammo?

I literally shipped some ammo last week to 2 different locations. Packaged it up, wrote ORD-M with a rectangle around it and shipped it out. I will be shipping more this week now that I think of it. I will post if I suddenly have any issues.

Walnut media and Brasso work well for me. I plan on trying the NuFinish thing after I run out of this bottle of Brasso. I toss in a used dryer sheet every now and then to keep things cleaning well. Don't know why that works, but it seems to...

    10mm 180gr inputs?

I have been using 165gr Berry's flat points with W231 powder and CCI primers. This mix is a good middle of the road round that shoots well out of me G20 with 6" Storm Lake barrel.

    Berry's hollow base bullets

The RNHB bullets are my new favorite for all my 9mm guns. I have been running the 100gr with around 4.5 grains of Bullseye and it will happily cycle through even my most finicky guns. Enough umph to reliably cycle my Glocks and HK's and the rounded bullet feeds well in my finicky smaller guns.

    A few good signs

Greentop in Richmond had a bunch of AR and AK mags, some AR rifles and pallets of 223 ammo, as well as several different kinds of 308. All of it was more expensive than before, but not insanely so considering. My LGS even had some primers and ammo in, although they are rationing it to 5 boxes...
