SA bug bit me recently and I cured it with this Lipsey's Ruger. It shoots 45LC and a cylinder for 45 ACP. Shoots like a dream, and the ACP rounds are a little cheaper to shoot more often. Great gun.
Wow. Just about 50/50 at this point. Makes me wonder if most have a balance of the two or if the camps are divided? I guess my ratio is about 3:1 handguns over long. May have to do with the fact I'm not a big hunter, and I carry in a large metro area. Love to shoot too and handgun ammo is...
No way will I ask how many of each, as I won't tell either. ;)
Just wondering in folks collections, which takes priority numbers wise.
For me, it's handguns, always been a pistolero.:D
Glad to see others agree! The price was as good or better than a new Colt, and I can't help but think that in '68 the production was as good or better than it is now. It's not the first time, as I have a Ruger MK II NRA edition I've shot the snot out of.
And plan to shoot it??
I saw a mint 1968 model Colt 1911 WWI commemorative and couldn't help myself! It didn't have the box and the gun is beautiful, typical Colt blueing. I have every plan to shoot this gun, wouldn't have it any other way. As a side note, '68 has got to be a good year for a...
Normally I don't chime in to bash in any forum, however my CW45 had trigger reset issues right out of the box. Talk about a confidence killer. It went back to Kahr, and the trigger bar was replaced. I have yet to go shoot it as I have plenty of other carry options. This was my first Kahr...
You're good to shoot 5.56 in the Bushy. Their recommendation not to use 5.56 in a gun specifically chambered for .223 does not apply to their firearms. They are basically saying just because our(Bushmaster) guns can use both, it's not a universal concept with all .233 rifles. Hope this helps.
Seems to me this could actually trigger a caliber war!! The 40 is obviously underpowered. If that was a 45, there would have been two very unfortunate deaths!
I went with the reliable enough but not first choice option. I have a P-11 that I have ran 350 rnds of Win white mix of fmj and jhp. I expected some malfunc's early on during break-in, however after good cleaning and lubing after every range visit, the gun still hangs up every few mags on a...
