I just got into the pre-64's and I am in love... I purchased the rifle off of gunbroker so was not sure what to expect... My first trip to the range I put the first three shots inside the one ich round bull at 100 yards. The scope was already sighted in.
If I only knew before...
That is what I thought at first... But look carefully. They are not Winchester's from South Carolina made by FN. They are the older models. I do not want one of the older ones. I a, looking for the new models.
Thanks
I am trying to locate a new Winchester Model 70 in 30-06 or 308 new. I am specifically looking for one of the new guns made in South Carolina by FN. I have not had any luck finding them anywhere. Does anyone know of a source to find this rifle?
Thanks
Phil
www.cresaprifleclub.com. We are open to the public Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Very cheap to shoot ($2.00 per shooter, $1.00 per target, no time limit) and very safe. Rifle and pistol lanes.
Get there early, we fill up quick!

I got one from CZcustom. Wow, what great service. I mentioned to them I would like to get it for a class I am teaching and they offered two day FedEx very cheap! They were very communicative and courteous. That really makes me want to send my CZ-75B Stainless to them for an action & trigger...
I have a couple of CZ-75 pistols and want to get a kadet kit for them to practice with. I need to work on my trigger pull... :-) Maybe with a threaded barrel?
Any recommendations on best place / lowest cost?
Thanks

Guys,
Too be clear the gun is being offered for $600 with 4 mags and 300 rounds of 9m. It was bought new by a guy who shoots IDPA and put 3000-2000 rounds through it practicing and competing. Not a LE pistol.
Given the 4 mags (hi cap) and 300 rounds of 9mm the price for just the gun is...
Pulse,
I hear ya! Given my need to "feel good" about a purchase I will probably pass. I am going to focus on 1911's in 9mm. I know they are more but they give me that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Call me wimpy if you want but I am happy with 9mm and do not need 45. Maybe if I shot...
schmeky,
I hear you loud and clear... And I believe you, however, It is a feel good thing for me. I would love to try one but have never ventured into the dark side (poly or aluminum) because of my fear they will wear quicker. To me a gun should be made of wood and metal. At least a handgun...
This is why I like steel frame pistols. I have been scared to move to aluminum or even poly because it just seems as if they would wear quicker!
thoughts?
What is the expected service life of a Sig p226 pistol in 9mm? I am looking to buy a used one for $600 but it has about 3000-4000 rounds through it. It was purchased new in 2006. Is this minimal or something to be worried about? What should I look for?
Thanks
